I can't see any way conceivable realistic way that he would walk from $550k, without being compensated his money by other means (outside of the salary cap).

I'm wondering if something untoward has happened and he's been asked to leave. Similar to when an employee does something worthy of dismissal but they're given the opportunity to hand in a resignation.

Pure speculation of course, but could be an explanation.

I think that could be likely too without being privy to anything. It's one thing to be given permission to look elsewhere but to walk away from 550k - looks suspect.

No More "Final Paydays" style contracts for players well past their prime.

No More Panic buys

I get the Tamou signing in the forwards to instill leadership as they tend to peak later

A massive NO to old and slow wingers.

We have had out share of discards with no reward . No more assisting clubs to free cap space to monopolize talent.

Reynolds special?

We already have a Mansour type winger called Nofa except he’s younger and way better

We need pace and height on our other wing

waiting for the media to come down like a ton of bricks on Penrith for the total lack of respect shown for a club legend like Mansour - how dare they tell him he's dropped to reserves and shafted..... I won't hold my breath... for them it will be good roster management, us however.....

Just another thought down memory lane...
Boys, can somebody tell me where / what's going on with Johns (ctw) and Joe Ratu>>>>>>>>>>>? both played well in the 9's

who knows, they've probably been laying bricks all year.

Hooper - best way to get attention bag the Tigers.. It's so transparent. We are not a basket case - Hooper is. He clutches at straws to stay relevant never gets any thing right until it's official and then tries to deflect by having a crack at what he thinks is an easy target. You can buy into his dribble or you can call him for what he is ...

This is getting comical at this point but in other unrelated news... we may or may not hold all the cards, for Burton and Mansour.

Love the little throwaway line at the end. 🤦‍♀️
```
The Tigers are still the basket case of the NRL open market. They’re struggling to sign a player.
```
Oh man!!

We could Sign Teddy, JAC, Harry Grant, Nathan Cleary and the media would still find a negitive about the club..

Sounds a promising bunch of signings ........ sauce?

I’d be sweet with us signing josh he’s only 30 just played in a grand final I’ve heard of a number of people that he treats his body like a temple so I imagine he would have plenty of years left in the tank only on a 2 year deal but

NSW coach Brad Fittler has left a bad taste in some mouths at the Wests Tigers with his comments about being “disillusioned” that the club let Ryan Papenhuyzen go in 2018.
Fittler dug the boot in when he declared last week that “someone got it wrong” when the gun fullback was let go to join the Storm and said Papehuyzen was a standout player all through his development.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports Tigers chair Lee Hagipantellis, who is also the owner of Brydens Lawyers — the Blues’ major sponsor — asked club officials to speak to Fittler and find out of he has an issue with the club.

Who was our coach at the time? Ivan? Media should go whinge at Penrith.

It happens to be that Lee Hagipantellis, is also the owner of Brydens Lawyers — the Blues’ major sponsor and Fittler is Head coach of the Blues
