News we have Laurie is very good but can’t help but think we nabbed him as we missed out on Burton.

Laurie has # 6 over fullback IMO future wise all over his style of play.

Laurie looks good but I worry about another fullback who is a better 6 after Lolohea, Mbye, and Doueihi.

I hope one day we can sign a fullback who is best at fullback.

So the rumours out there are Laurie , Mansour , Jimmy the jet , Burton , potentially Angus , and ..... am I missing someone ? Honestly , I’d have them all at the right price .

Rather focus on just Laurie, Burton and Crighton. If not Burton, then we must take the hard line with Manly on Garner or Aloai and negotiate for Schuster. If we could somehow manage to get these guys we would certainly be on the right track.

I don’t understand why people are against signing James Roberts & Josh Mansour they are quality

Because Reynolds, matalino, anasta, and Packer were the same.

Players that were ok just a while back and we have seen where that has gotten us in tje park and in the marketplace.

No to both these guys. No one good wants to play with these former slightly better than average players

No. Hoy and Crossland both very average hence not being able to make an average Newcastle side.

His family are rusted on WTs. Last year I know that the Raiders were interested in him and that they were frustrated by the WTs lack of motivation to counter that. I assumed it had been resolved - maybe not.

I posted an article about him signing a three year contract after intervention from Hartigan. Newcastle and Canberra were interested but his family brought him into WTs.

Hoy is the son of a Newcastle surfing legend. I doubt he would leave. Crossland played SG Ball and Aust Schoolboys with Madden.

To be fair Russel wasnt unfit this year just has injury problems that affect his game and being fitter wont fix his feet

Okay then, he can knock "Son of a Mitch" senseless as well.
At least he hasn't bitched about the Gatorade and the strapping, well not as far as I know.
