Absolutely, he’s been awful since he got back from the US. He’s not a fullback and these days he’s a bog average winger too.

Agreed. No idea why Cronulla were willing to pay so much for him to stay. He seemed like a good back, had that football brain and sly way, but nothing that special.

Maybe he is better then an average winger, but for his pricetag boy he would want to be a lot better.

Before he left he was an Australian level player, he was killing it. Hasn't come close to that since coming back

Biggest claim to fame was scoring 4 tries for the Kangaroos vs Pakistan or some such RL powerhouse nation. He's a dud IMO.

Assuming you didn't watch him from 2015-2018? He was excellent and deserved his Australian representative selection. He was one of their best when he won the premiership and in 2018 he was extremely good, got their player of the year, 22 tries in 26 games. Also routinely carved up NSW whenever he played for QLD.

He's struggling at the moment but it's pretty silly to say he was never good. He was one of the best in the league for a few seasons

Ok its been 4 weeks and we clearly know where we stand...

Changes for me:

1. Look into swapping Walters for Corey Oats as he just needs a change as his has played SOO, Tall, great at bringing the ball back and is still only like 26 years old.

2. If there is a chance to off load Brooks I say let him go as he still has like 3 more years here and we need a true half. I would put that money to buying Reynolds with a 3 year deal but the 3rd year a club option. He would just bring us a player that can control a game and kicking game is outstanding.

3. I would look at buying Sua from Souths as he is a SOO player and would add that aggression we lack plus we have the money and no chance of getting Angus C from roosters.

4. If moses can find a club i would also let him go as paying the money he is on for a bench spot that Simpkin should be taking is ridiculous

5. I would also look to buy Brown from Eels - I know he is a grub but we desperately need a guy like him to lift the team as we have too many Mr Nice guys.

I know a lot won't agree but we need a hard edge and need it ASAP.
