Despite failing to land a big-money signing in recent season, Maguire assured fans that he is constantly in talks with players at other clubs who like what they're seeing at the Tigers. 

"There are a lot of players that I know want to come to this club," Maguire said.

"I do talk to a lot of players. A lot of players are signed at certain clubs and they talk to me about what’s going on at the Wests Tigers.

"A lot of people know that the club is moving in a direction and we’re building a foundation. And there are a lot of players out there that like what they’re seeing

At the moment I would play Laurie in the centre’s, on the wing, at full back , 5/8 , halfback and even lock.... if only we had enough Daine lauries to fill the spots he would be the first pick in this team to play! ????

Team needs a top defensive centre inside of nofoaluma

No the middle needs to win the ruck. Once that starts happening, our edge will not get exposed.

A good defensive centre is not going to make a difference whilst it is so easy for other teams to shift to our edges

That comment says to me that players want to play for Madge, but they don't want to risk their careers by joining a bad playing group. So essentially if we make the top 8, those players will consider joining us.

Re- Gamble- on the other side of the coin, he had 1, only 1 bad game for WT when the whole side did one of the infamous not turning up episodes and so many here were baying for his blood and calling him useless.

Mikaele- I agree he should be offered a new contract. Liddle is a huge question isnt he? He is obviously becoming second fiddle behind Simpkin. Can he develop some versatility and maybe also play lock or in the halves as an alternate? If not will he want to remain second fiddle or go elsewhere for a guarantee of first grade? If he wants to go we need to recruit a capable, utility capable of stand in for Simpkin when necessary but also capable of filling reserve grade spot. BUT WHO?. .

Meninga should probably be more concerned about the Titans squads attitude toward their coach atm - over 100 points scored against them in the last 3 matches. Deflection at its best.
