Finucane is the best available second rower. we go after the rejects that Brisbane want to offload to start their rebuild.

Best position for TPJ?
I’ve liked him at Prop / Middle forward and saw him just as effective as Joffa in the backrow. ‘Last year’
This year I’m seeing something a little different.
It has all the hallmarks of a Ben Teo like signing for us, which would probably mean he stiffens up either the left or right edge.
I seem to recall I had my doubts at the time that Teo would be a good signing for him as he was a bit of a mercenary the way he played the game, however he was consistent as and went to another level at the Bunnies.
Joffa has been preforming pretty well at lock but he could move in one and have TPJ do the same into lock? Bringing Blore onto an edge.
We’ll see what Madge’s plan is for Blore in the coming weeks. His 19-20 but has just made his way back into the side and is coming on in any position of the back three forwards. Middle or Left / right edge.

So while most of complain and offer suggestions of who we should sign our club is on the job trying to recruit a couple of quality players interstate.

Recruitment definitely isn't the problem lately. It's the dud senior roster we have from old coaches.

Twal is one of my favourites, but he offloads maybe twice a game. This guy is the 2nd best in the game, and up there with Tama and Papali as a metre eater.

Brooks was very effective with Luciano offloading to him, could be the same with TPJ there - give him early ball and back him up.

Guess we will have to wait and see. Good to hear some news finally 😂 Hooper has actually had a pretty decent strike rate lately too

He’s played plenty on an edge and would be a massive upgrade on our flimsy defence. This forum needs to understand it’s not all about scoring points.

With the crackdown on high shots, TPJ will get sent off constantly. Will be playing with 12 players.

Just pointing out it would be a concern with TPJ and the new rules. I’m thinking of dropping him from my NRL fantasy team for this reason. So many players are getting sent off. Coaches will need to adapt not sure if all players have that discipline.
Well drilled teams like the Storm, Penrith, Roosters ect will be fine.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Roosters cut JWH if the NRL continues down this path.

I am an old turkey, but the games best sides always had dominant forwards, good halves, and good fullbacks.

Nothing has changed.

With Laurie and Douihei playing amazingly.
Just need a few more pieces of the puzzle to fall into place.

We've been saying for ages we need some backs and a classy second rower.
