It's quite perplexing...
He's so introverted and lacks the management ability to play in the position we (not me though) placed him.

Honestly think maybe years ago he should've been transitioned to a run it up #9 .. because he is definitely not a half back.

Honestly thing the experiment has failed and we should walk away from it before we waste any more years persisting.

Lots may disagree but I still think that Pearce has couple of seasons of quality leadership and game management to offer at what I believe is a reasonable price.
He would add heaps to Brooks game development and with Hastings and Madden as backups our half’s would be set.

I don't think Romey is a leader he just feeds of Cleary. So certainly at least one of the halves needs to be a leader but it doesn't have to be the halfback.

To be fair to Brooks I don’t think even Cleary or Cronk at his best would’ve dug us out of the hole we got in last night. That said, he has been the common denominator in a key position during the club’s long stretch of non-success.
