Can we bring back Nate Brown and Mitch Moses?
Trade yas a Mbye and a Nofo.
Surely you jest? I’d rather relegation than have those two pretentious knobs playing in our colours again.
You must be one of those, "I don't wanna be coached by Flanno cos he's a cheat" guys too.
Haha, we need some winners man.
Brooksy isn't gonna take us to the promise land of finals.
I've bashed Brooks a fair bit this season, mainly because I wanted him to lead the team but he can't. Conclusion: Brooks is a good half but he is not a leader.
And he folds when he's paired with a good leader half...
Maybe that's why he and Mitch Moses failed and again when he's paired with Adam Douihei.
Does well when he's with another kinda submissive passenger type half like Mbye.
It's quite perplexing...
He's so introverted and lacks the management ability to play in the position we (not me though) placed him.
Honestly think maybe years ago he should've been transitioned to a run it up #9 .. because he is definitely not a half back.
Honestly thing the experiment has failed and we should walk away from it before we waste any more years persisting.
⭐ Feel free to disagree with me, it's a forum. Everything is open for discussion. I won't be upset if you disagree. I love it. Go Tigers.
He is just not a leader. ie game manager etc My expectation has been adjusted since I realised that. If you want a game manager and leader as a half, it's not Brooks. The question is does the half have to be?
If you look at the current top 4...
Melbourne - munster, leader ✅
Penrith, Cleary & Romey, leaders ✅
Rabbit, Walker & Reyno, leaders ✅
Eels, Slimey, leader ✅
.... so I think, yes.
The player maker needs to be a leader.
Thoughts?
