If he improves our edge, then he can't come soon enough. If he flops and ends up in Long Bay, who really cares.

In May 2018 Musgrove was involved in an argument with his former girlfriend, and on July 11, faced charges of common assault, common assault domestic violence related, and intentionally or recklessly destroy/damage property. Musgrove pleaded not guilty.[17][18] On 19 September, Musgrove pleaded guilty to damaging property and was fined $1,100 and ordered to pay $500 to fix the gate which Musgrove damaged after having an argument with his girlfriend. Musgrove also faced charges of domestic violence related common assault and assault, but both charges were withdrawn by prosecutors.[19] In November Musgrove's sentence was overturned on appeal, and he was given a conditional release order and required to be on good behaviour.[20]

In December 2018, Musgrove was charged by police for allegedly assaulting a woman at the Coogee Bay Hotel. Musgrove and Liam Coleman, son of former Souths player Craig Coleman were charged with an act of indecency and aggravated indecent assault. A woman made a complaint to security and a further complaint was made to Eastern Beaches police local area command. Musgrove attended Maroubra police station later that week where he was granted conditional bail.[12][21] In January 2019 he pleaded not guilty to aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and common assault.[13]

On 21 October 2019, Musgrove was found guilty of assault with an act of indecency and sentenced to a 12-month intensive corrections order.[22]

In April 2020, Musgrove had his assault conviction from 2019 overturned by the court.[23]

The Canberra Raiders have been approached with a request to release Curtis Scott to the Wests Tigers immediately.

The enigmatic centre has been sidelined since being stood down by the NRL over a nightclub incident in Canberra.

Scott isn’t part of the Raiders’ bubble in Queensland.

He was expected to resume training in Canberra on Friday, however the Storm premiership winner could be headed for Concord for the remainder of this season.

The Tigers have injury issues and will also be without James Roberts who has been suspended for one match for his balcony breach.

The Tigers view Scott as a solution as they chase their first finals appearance since 2011.

“Agent Sam Ayoub contacted us (the Raiders) on Tuesday night to discuss the possibility of Curtis going to the Wests Tigers,’’ Raiders coach Ricky Stuart said.

“It’s been left with Tigers management to work with Don Furner to see if something can be worked out.”

The Tigers’ appeal in Scott relates to the fact both the Queensland and ACT Government have an arrangement where no quarantine is required.

If a deal can be struck Scott could be available to play in the next fortnight

How do you think we'd go next year if we managed to sign Heilum Luki from the cowboys, Smith Shields and the Senior twins from the UK? I'd say we'd be looking top 6. Minimum.

They aren't big names but they've looked decent.

Improvement on current roster but I wouldn't getting my hopes up sadly.

From what I've heard, yes. He's a Cowboys junior though, might be tough to get him away from his family but the Cowboys can't match the money. Roosters and Knights looking as well. Klemmer might be going to Cowboys but that's got nothing to do with Luki except for the money they need to pay Klemmer.

He is super competitive I know him personally I’m telling he really isn’t that bad he has a bit of a temper but all round he is a good bloke

Agreed. Can’t be worse than what we have. But woun’t waste w cent on anyone new unless it was an improvement. And if that be the case then pay him what it takes to get him over the line. This value would ghen be his worth. But atm cant think of anyone i would target but i hope those in the know do and are. We need to also be patient. We did things in haste before and we have suffered for years and will continue to do so. Identify what you need and go get it! Simple.

Hope we can get him. He is a future star. Exactly the type of signing we need.

Luki would be a great signing, very similar to Laurie and Stefano. Liked what I've seen from him albeit a lot to learn
