DT saying Spencer Leniu could be forced out of pamfers. On around 300k a season.

🔥🔥🔥

Sign him up ASAP.

He and Tago (think that was his name) looked alright in the middle part of the year and I wonder if this is our most viable approach to improving the roster. It could work similarly to how it has for LL, Blore Stefano, Laurie and Douehi - players waiting for their NRL opportunity.

Tago will be in the 17 next year with Capewell leaving you'd think

Spencer though, mismanaged at the Panthers this year and would be a much better option for us than Sims and Elliot.

Young, hungry, gun.

100% worth a shot.

Beast. Definitely should be having a chat to his management

Penrith had him signed until the end of 2023. Could be a bargain for Wests Tigers.

We are talked up as a destination club.
I'd say we are an opportunity club.

Other than Joffa, the one thing about most our other recruits is there's a real competitiveness and air of gratitude toward the club, so hopefully this is the time when these type of qualities/characteristics will start to take root in the club's performance culture.

Lenui has had plenty of opportunities but hasnt really kicked on..though he has some formidable competition ahead of him at Panthers
Am a little on the fence re chasing these fringe 1st graders tbh..yep,hes 109kgs...but we have a few of these already.Lenui probably has as much chance of stepping up as any of our own except Stefano,so...

I have concerns as to whether Sheens, Gildart and Hastings will arrive in time to prepare for the 2022 season. from Great Britain.

I hope that doesn’t impact our premiership chances too much.

How much else can our premiership chances be impacted for 2022?

He just turned 21 and is only out of the side atm because someone had to make way for the blow in from the Broncos. Unfortunately for Spencer, it was him

If he was available we'd possibly be a chance given he played lower grades with Blore and Laurie.

How can you accuse a 20 year of not having “kicked on” 😆

Well..sticking with the facts..the "blow in" is about to move on in a week(maybe less!)..but regardless, Lenui appears surplus to requirements at Penrith, despite 35 NRL appearances to prove his merits??Ample opportunity to "kick on"one wld say...
Panthers think theyve got better
As I said,he still may evolve to be better than anything we have atm (apart from Stefano)...but with the truckload of $$ we have Id personally prefer someone more proven to be prised out of their contract.like other clubs seem to be able to achieve(particularly against WTs).
We can afford better than "bargain" maybes

Charlie Staines in the same boat as Spencer both being forced out due to salary cap.

Staines is just that. Only has a bit of speed. Can't catch, think or do anything intellectual.
Whenever the camera shows him, he looks like he's trying to add simple numbers in his head and losing

Yep. He is like Brooks except on the wing. Also has that weird head. Mmmmm

Arguably, the teams around us on the ladder have improved their rosters so you would suggest their positions will rise nxt year. We only have 2 signings so far and the jury is out on their ability. Same coach, same playing attitude. Our guys didn't look like they were playing for Madge this year, what will change next year. Our best player is out half the year as well.
I can't see how our ladder position will improve next year. Sure money has us for the spoon unless something drastic happens.

Another great quote from Malcolm Knox today

"Bringing to mind the doctor who declares the operation a success notwithstanding the death of the patient, the NRL will proudly declare this season one of terrific achievement and resounding superbness, notwithstanding its failure to organise a fair competition that gave 90 per cent of fans any remote hope of seeing their club succeed.
