So Ash Taylor not going to the Warriors...?

We’d have been better off with Taylor than Hastings.

In GNR’s defence there have been times where Taylor has outplayed the best halves in the NRL. Hastings hasn’t.

Huh? What lol. Tsylor has outplayed the best halves in the NRL? Mate he was hyped up more then brooks and has played about the same number of good games as brooks. He’s gone from a million dollar contract to not being able to get a contract for $250k by 16 nrl teams. I think I will happily take my chances with Hastings over Taylor. No one knows what we will get with Hastings but we sure as hell know that we will get brooks 2.0 with Taylor .

It's true, go back a few years and have a look at some of his games. There's a reason why he got paid $1m.

Go back 8 years and you will see why brooks is on $800k now.

I actually don’t mind Taylor at $250k . At best he proves people wrong and delivers on his potential, at worst he is a great back up half in reggies.

I agree, i'm not saying i'd pay big money but $250k is low risk/high reward. And let's be honest, he won't need to be shooting the lights out to get a spot.

Taylor - upgrade on Walters

Looking at it at a squad perspective we are losing Mybe and Walters who both cover halves and hooker and are bringing in Hastings and Taylor (rumoured).

Based off ability and likely salaries I'd say we would be making an upgrade.

Judging by this article posted before the start of the year it seems like Kelma and Hoffman were always automatically going into the Top 30 in 2022 whereas Kei wasn’t.
