I guess the point here is how ridiculously inaccurate online information is regarding NRL contracts.

It can't be that hard to have a regulatory body who maintains and updates official contract information on a daily basis.

All contracts should be lodged through the NRL not through clubs & player goes to highest bidder. If bids are equal then player goes to team lower on ladder.

Contract offers made in 4 trade windows, televised by NRL.

All contract amounts should also be made publicly available- like in US sports.

Would remove the opportunity for salary cap breaches.

And allow fans to follow the transfer market.

Hodgson,Peachey,Hastings and one of ( Thompson,Leniu,or Tapau) is a successful recruitment drive, still need a 2nd rower but not much available, if Jet stays I would start him on the wing over Nofa next year.

Heilum Luki's contract situation is still up in the air, he may well still be available. if we nab him I'd be inclined to let Garner go.

Luki should be touring the facilities soon as lockdown is now over.

He is on a DEvelopment deal next year with the cows

Have to say if it's true (zero tackle) that Elliott has a WT contract of offer on his table and he is trying anywhere else but WT we should withdraw the offer now and never offer again. If he doesn't want our offer of a lifeline until he has exhausted all other possibilities, he obviously doesn't want to play with the team. Too many of that type have been through our sheds already.

Pretty rich from a bloke who's been at a bottom 2 team last couple of yrs and questionable morals. I'd 100% pull the offer.

I dunno about anyone else but I'd heard not a peep about Elliott to Tigers before this article. Good for Tigers, Elliot is not what we need.

Unless Canberra are potentially interested in signing him on 200-300k a year, it's a bad move on their part. The bloke is cultural cancer and pretty average at best.

Another one, Moga to St George is a weird one... The bloke has played 1 full season in his entire career, yet keeps getting signed by new clubs. How's he do it?
