I was a massive advocate for buggering off madge but now that Sheens is back, I'm happy to keep him. Still think if he has a terrible first half of the year he'll be gone.
Few guys on here in the know @Demps seem to rate Gardiner? I think it is.
More than happy for him to take over. Seems to be involved with all the promising juniors

I wanted Madge gone but probably got that call wrong especially if Sheens is in the mix helping. I think what Sheens brings in recruitment is clout for Madge that he didn't have when it was Pascoe Lee and the other bloke

Has time to mingle with the fan boys and lap up the attention.... but can't get the real work done.

No wonder Sheens swung the axe as soon as he could. Clearly identified weakness.

Lets erase 2021.
Blore really fired at the end of 2020. I want to see how he does under Cayless.
We have a stack of young players and the fire was missing last year in everyone. The fight is in this kid, happy for him to be kicked out if he doesn't perform. Lets see what Cayless and 2022 will bring.

Yeesh, it's extremely early to be thinking Blore hasn't lived up to potential

Hes not had a proper pre season ever and by the back end of last year he was playing 80 minutes every week and doing a pretty solid job of it too...

He might not be as flashy as Tuilagi but he's much more consistent. Good defender, good at the tough stuff and runs good lines despite not always getting good service from our 7.

Much rather a player handle the basic stuff and get used to playing 80 first before becoming a try scorer and X factor and I think that's the way Blore will go. Should be a big year for him as he continues to develop

It’s funny because Brooks doesn’t have any problem putting Garner into holes 🤷‍♂️

Two years ago when we targeted the best development forwards going round (Steph and Blore) everyone was stoked when we landed them and now again as they are progressing at NRL level.
Are the WTs still targeting the best rep juniors and maybe paying over to get them onboard or has the strategy changed?

Will be interesting if we snag another highly rated rookie for '23 but surprisingly, we've targeted and managed to sign two quality rep level players in their prime instead

Hopefully we pull another Stefano signing though... brilliant move signing him so early.

the club hasnt handed over Luciano with out a fight.imho think covid did us a favour,didnt and now wont rush them through.etc etc
