Junior development over the past six or seven years was only a part of my criticism. A part you seem to have singularly latched onto.No one is knocking the area....
Old mate is convinced Wests Tigers are single handedly starving the SW Sydney talent of NRL opportunities...
I've asked for evidence of this - I'm yet to see any.
My point was, how many superstar Test players do you expect a junior area to produce each decade, before you’ll show it any respect?50% of this list came through the Wests Tigers system....
Again, Where's the neglect to the area and it's players?
My bet is most of the others you could possibly name also came through the Wests Tigers system.
NoDoes Lodges leaving the Warriors Immediately mean that we would look to his return to replace Tamou

My main beef is the inner city focus of who the WestsTigers actually are. To be fair, a lot of this narrative is media driven. But the othering of the Campbelltown half of our club (as opposed the Leichhardt half) in my humble opinion, contributes to the juniors in the Macarthur having no allegiance to their local NRL side.
I mean the club plays three games at Campbelltown each year, games no one gets terribly excited about (as opposed the religious fervour reserved for the eighth wonder).
It’s similar up here on the Coast. The Roosters pump money into the junior league and field a joint junior rep program but Bradman Best and the Saifitis go to Newcastle (closer to a local team geographically), and kids are coming through in the lower grades at Parra, Canterbury etc ... as well as the Roosters. They don’t play here, they don’t represent the area, and therefore it’s all a bit mercenary. Local people see through it,

Breaking news,Matt Lodge has been granted an immediate release from his contract at the warriors, no mention of where he will be playing moving forward.
Apparently not Roberts not listed in nrl as top 30. If correct there is still one spot freeCorrect
Might be heading to Manly to replace Taupau?
I count 29 without Naden. Roberts listed here but not on NRL website https://www.weststigers.com.au/news/2021/11/08/wests-tigers-2022-nrl-squad/Apparently not Roberts not listed in nrl as top 30. If correct there is still one spot free
So someone's suggestion we fit Trent into our coaching staff mightn't be as silly as it soundsFrom a young mate who used to play under him, I’ve heard Nado is very popular and has a lot of influence.
So a good player to sign to catch used Panthera.
Nado and Burto were hard core Trent disciples. They left a rugby league super-power to play for him. That reason has gone.
Burton..geez that would solve a lot of problems for us, more than a fighting chance during those back end disasters, when we often flounder.
No argument from me.Your not wrong,
But Brooks contract needs to reflect the position he plays and the contribution to winning.
Do we have enough centre coverage for 2023?
AJ, T'oa, Naden, AD (if Brooks stays), Talau - 5 options
Simple, to avoid any bad press.I am confused , our we offering Angus a contract or not , no wonder we struggle to sign players
I was talking about their forwards. The knuckleheads they already have - Jack Hetherington, Luke thompson, Paul Vaughan, TPJ. May as well add another i suppose.Did they replace Brent naden?
