Well if the Laurie of last week can be maintained, and the reports of Staines being targeted are true, there are our immediate Fullback contenders right there. Both similar age to Dykes.

A little off topic but this made me think about a comment Jackson made in the pre season.

It was something like, "Nofoaluma my captain."

Never knew exactly what to make of it.

Any thoughts?

That was when Nofo was in the leadership group ?

Then he fell out....

Honeymoon period ended and it was reported Hastings was blasting Nofo on the field.
Then the rumours began they don't like each other.
 
Bloody hell the innuendo just doesn't stop .Its like the McCarthy era in 1950's America .Hastings depressed because he thinks team don't like him?
This forum has said whole team doesn't like Nofo yet they follow his likes and dislikes ?? Social media is sure a weapon just post whatever you want then whoever reads it says that's maybe fact ?
Maybe Nofo caused Brooks calf injury
Give it a rest and concentrate on important issues like our poor roster and almost no recruitment and how do we win some games

Wasn't reported, Hastings was suggesting he look at the replay wasn't he?

Further on, on the day it's revealed WT's have knocked the Storm back for 3 other player requests, (Daine, Ken and Doueihi) They agree to release Nofoaluma to the Storm....
This same day Hastings is in Media saying that the Team has no issue with him, Sheens has no issue with him and sees him as having a place in the side moving forward and he doesn't want to change clubs.

Ignoring what's obvious doesn't make it not obvious.

About time too. Nofa has been making the same stupid mistakes for years and with no accountability either. I wouldn't be upset if Nofa went. He's not the key to us winning a premiership and is definitely replacable.

Does anyone know if we are any closer to some signings,I would have thought that with the future coaches sorted out we may have something to announce. There was supposedly 2 prospects who were waiting to see who the new coach was going to be.

The 2 prospects obviously didn't think Sheens was the coach for them.

People will find it hard to get info mate.
If the journos with all their contacts aren't reporting it then we have little chance.
Also leakgate may have tightened things up a bit.

Brooks could of hit Laurie with the shift ball but the play was to continue making that edge work on Kelma.
To be fair yes bad pass. But it would of been a worse pass if he threw it to where Kelma was as it clearly would of been forward. Kelma effectively took himself out of the play when he clearly was supposed to be in it.
