Yes let’s not ever try to sign a good player, as we are not good enough. Weak, try for all the great players u can and hopefully one will stick, be positive!! Don’t be the captain of negativity…

Yes, and that time to sign was 2 seasons ago before he went to Newcastle.

Solid forward. He would have been exactly what we need. Instead we should aim for Angus C. Easts does build their boys well.

There is "can play" and Will play. IMHO a 32 year old like Damien Cook certainly can play. The big difference between Damien Cook and say a Mitchell Pearce is that Mitchell has 10 extra years of Footy taking a toll on his body.

Gallen proved that people can play till 38. If someone had the right attitude, sure. Particularly if it's a year by year contract and they want to buy a house in Sydney then I can see it working.

The games become more about the egos of the journalists and reporters of the game too. I'm not a fan of Woods, but he called it the other week. The journos have their favourites which effects their promotion of the game. Journos were calling for lessened penalties for guys like Cleary for his dangerous tackle because he's a nice guy and wouldn't have intentionally made the error (oh and how his suspension effects the beloved Panthers too). Meanwhile, throw the book at guys like Naden who they couldnt give a shit about. Hearing imbeciles like Joey and Freddy froth over guys Ponga does my head in too, we will see how nothing happens with Pongas latest toilet indiscretion for the sake of the game. The games not heading in great direction IMO.
