Interesting to read The Kennel (when they aren't swearing at each other), a thread about Tigers signing Tamou and in the hunt for JAC.

And what do the Doggies supporters say?
"How is it that the Tigers have salary cap space with that dead wood?"
"How is it that Tigers can sign players but our club has the biggest salary cap space around and cannot attract anyone of note".

Substitute those comments to this forum and you don't have to change a thing, except it's about other clubs rather than Tigers.

Lol perspective is everything! I think just about every clubs supporters think they are hard done by in games by the refs, penalised for nothing and can’t sign anyone of note, even when they do! 😂

Don’t see the appeal of reading other teams forums. I remember when Tacky was on here, he was constantly posting links to what they were saying on other forums. Who cares dude. Though, I must admit, I did read Parra’s after they got knocked out of the finals this year. That was funny.

I don't mind reading them to see what they think of our mob and how they'll smash us....the roosters one when we beat them the first game of the year was fantastic, and I posted a few snippets from the eels forums here while they were experiencing meltdown this year but ended up being censored.....which in hindsight was fair enough

I'm now excited re Daine Laurie.
After watching the video from his Panthers jersey presentation, it looks like he is a real nice bloke with strong family ties for support.
I feel we are on an exciting winner with Daine's signing.

I felt the same, looks like a genuine kid and a genuine naturally talented footballer, looking forward to following his development.

I hope we have had discussions with Chricton if Easts are looking to let him go and get him with subsidy. We lost Rowdy last year, Garner hasn't kicked on and Lucy is the only guy there who walks into our second row. I'd like to see Sammy Mac in at lock. Short on quality in the second row.

funny thing with Garner is that his 2019 season was fantastic and his combo with Brooks was firing

From Garner himself, wasn't happy about being moved to right edge. Benji likes to play late at the line which suits Lucy's game where as Garner prefers early ball or running into a hole (Which Brookes was better at providing).

He did have a conversation with Madge about it.

Well he is right. You don’t move a guy that was killing it on the left (as he was doing in lower grades too) to the other side to cover rubbish defence. You get rid of the rubbish defence. BJ Leilua was rubbish on the right anyway. We would have been better off leaving Garner and Luciano where they were and moving BJ to left.
