The Wests Tigers are willing to offer Mansour a contract for 2021 and 2022, however the winger is holding out for another year on top.

Wests Tigers are considering Roberts on a one year $150k deal with strict conditions similar to his one at Souths

We have signed Laurie on a two year deal starting from 2022, his manager has asked for an early release but Penrith have denied it.

I'd glad we asked for an early release for Laurie. And considering Panthers have said no, well that settles that, it won't drag on now, good.

I don't think we need Mansour for 3 years, we only want him to tide us over for the youngsters to be ready, and 1 or 2 years is about right.

All in all, it sounds good, all astute decisions by WT, very good.

I'd prefer Fergo over Mansour too, though Fergo might want considerably more cash.

Can understand Mansour wanting the 3 but if he truly believes he still got it take the 2 and he will get an extension plus an upgrade

There’s also talk eels want Mansour and are willing to release Ferguson early if he can find a better deal. Not sure who I’d prefer out of the two, Ferguson had a pretty average year to be honest.

I thought he played well, didn't score many tries but that says more about the guy inside him I reckon.

I'm big on effect of public appearance. Woods didn't publicly humiliate us (I can't recall him doing so anyway), but Aloiai has. Intentionally with his posting of him mowing the lawn with the accompanied smart alec comment.

I'd want Aloiai to make a public apology or comment something saying he meant no offence to the club before forgiving him. For Woods, I'd be happy if he was remorseful to the club in private, and that'd be between him and the club and I'd never know.

Yeah Josh needs to take a step back instead of doubling down on this nonsense.

Dump his manager(who I believe has gotten him into this mess with shocking advice) and apologise for his own error of judgement. If done quickly and sincerely he can mend any wrongdoings and then fulfill his contract with us.

I agree but I think he will just double down. He is being advised poorly.

No club will give Mansour 3 years. Hopefully the Dogs sign him, and maybe give him a 3rd year as an option. He would just be such a bad fit for the balance of our squad. Doesn't add any value whatsoever. Offer him 150k if we can offload Bradley maybe and he's happy to be a backup.

A shame Panthers won't release a player they're not playing. Much like Stefano, will waste another year of their development and deliberately not play them.

And just no on Roberts. He's a time-bomb.

He also didn't say Mansour isn't coming. What he actually said is that negotiations have reached an impasse. I'm interpreting that as Mansour over pricing himself. That's all part of negotiating a deal. I wouldn't write it off yet.

That's what i thought Dwight. very concerning we'd have any negotiations with him at all. Shows a distinct lack of foresight. Very much a Reynolds type signing for the sake of signing someone.

Absolutely, Fergo’s still got it. Waqa Blake wrecked him this year, the guy doesn’t pass.

Fergo has some comedy moments and silly errors but he’s similar to Nofa in some ways attack-wise but has a bit of speed and much better in the air near the line. Not the worst goal kicker either.

The only concern I’d have is again an ageing player blocking a young guys development.

One thing it may help with is possibly getting JAC if the club do revisit the deal for 2022. They’re really good mates. I’m drawing a thin bow there, but it’s just a thought.
