No Walker (hurts me to even mention that grubs name) to guide the team around, very poor defender, he has no running game with Souffs let alone with us. People say he has no back problems, I'm sure you would find out pretty quick if he was playing with us and no bodyguards around him. Crunch!!!!
The guy has a pretty good kicking game - he also has players around him that take advantage of that....do we?
Would not be half the player with us - personally think he is pretty ordinary player with a good kicking game.
It would be a Big NO from me.
So we keep a half with absolutely no kicking game
Damed if we do
Dated if we don't
Not having a decent kicking game has killed us for years
We need repeat sets
We need an 80% goal kicker
Someone who doesn't crumble under pressure
We need a kicker who can pin the opposition down their own end and not let them start sets 30 out from there own end on the 1st tackle
Maybe Doueihi can fill this void now
Reynolds
87% tackle efficiently this season
4 forced drop outs this season
358.4 kicking meters per game
50 running meters per game
0 try assists
0 line break assists
15 goals at 83.3%
1 offload
167 receipts
57 tackles 87.1% efficiently
Luke brooks
83 % tackle efficiently this season
1 forced drop out this season
221 kicking meters per game
81 running meters per game
5 try assists
2 line break assists
2 goals at 100%
4 Offloads
229 Receipts
67 Tackles 83% efficiently
You can see by those stats that Brooks seems to get more involved in the play
Maybe he is trying to hard himself and should try and organise the players around him more
Save himself for those key moments
Also his kicking meters is well down
Our forwards are having to work to hard to get up the other end of the field
Hopefully Doueihi can now help in this area
We need to start playing smart football
And for that we need smart players
I think Reynolds is one of those players
