They lost 38-22 to Penrith last round of regular season in 2005, they actually lost to the Storm the week before 34-22, went in to the finals on the back of 2 straight losses after I think 8 straight wins

2017 is the answer to the question.

I remember that game. Finished the season feeling fairly bullish about our season the year after. Leichhardt game to farewell Woods and Teddy, JMK made his debut with us and Tui Lolohea actually resembled a first grader, would you believe it. how wrong was I.

Coach Sheens played the tactical game even back then (funny how the papers are still talking about it before this weekend's games). The two losses put us in a better position to play the Cows in Week 1 of the finals, giving us the home game against Broncos in Week 2.

I would assume he means us. He’s contracted for 2022, so 2023 I would presume.

Assuming it’s for 2023, he’d be 29 when he plays his first game for us. It’s not old, but it’s borderline. And he is a prop. He’s also an incumbent Blues prop. He and Stefano could be a perfect blend of youth and experience. 850k is probably a touch steep, but that’s what it’s going to take to attract quality to our club. The young ones aren’t going to do it all on their own.
