I like you info about Illias but there is a lot of rewriting of history in it. Illias was playing HM when Doueihi, Seyfarth, Suli and Papenhuyzen were playing SG Ball. Had he stayed, he may have played with Brooks in the halves.

Once we sign another back rower, potentially Nikora or Nanai, we’ll be ok. We still can potentially have a stronger back row next year than we do this year.

Yeah mate - Never ends...
Really sucks being a top 4 team with a halfback that just keeps us down the bottom.
Ilias is a big kid too... I keep an eye on him.

Latrell = unfit, massive ego, wants to go to the dolphins.

Cook = average, folda under pressure

Walker = a broken man, he'll struggle this year, his personal life and troubles will creep into his game.

They let Reno go to back their youth and Taafe, arguably the best of their youth will seek a release.

Ilias is in for a big year.

I think the biggest part of his game was his speed off the mark and he doesn't look as fast as he was

Latrell = unfit, massive ego, wants to go to the dolphins.

I reckon he is close to Tommy T as the best player in the comp. He can do it all. If he gets his head right he can be a special player. A great runner of the footy and his passing game the other night was on another level.

Cameron Murray is also quality.

Souths have problems but they have class players that we don't have. If we had Latrell and Cameron Murray we'd make the 8.

MCK is a solid honest player. Problem with him was he never knew if he was playing centre. Second row or lock. How are you supposed to get consistency in your footy. Madge wrecked the dude. I'll never forget the game against broncos. Clutch.....

No It wasn't - He's managed by Anasta (Zero chance of keeping him) AND we signed Madden to development deal over him all around a time when he got a long term injury.

Maybe Anasta is smarter than we think..its .HIS client who is now the starting 7 at last years grand finalists (preferred to their local junior Taafe btw),and its only early days but Illias looks to be considerably more multi dimensional than ours!
Meanwhile..Madden is desperately searching for a new club...because now his path at WTs is blocked
Madden will get his opportunities this year at some stage at WTs and suspect he will give the club something to think about ...needs to string a few games together
