Yep. Ricky has got to be under pressure at Canberra. They're back to being the Faders and they have no game plan other than big boppers up the guts and Wighton running around like a chook with his head cut off.

Plus all the players wives hate him 🤣

There's 3 coaches with better squads than ours that aren't doing much (If any) better....
You could certainly argue the Knights are also treading water with their million dollar man

Tapau is cooked IMO, Klemmer with Newcastle carrying some frieigt is a better option IMO

I just don't see it. Since we've been linked to Nikora, I've paid a bit more attention to him, and he seems fine without being good. Decent defence, but I would rate him less than average as far as second-rowers go.

Talau is going nowhere but the second row next year .he’s highly rated by the club for good reason .

Say what you want but not swapping him for jac will prove to be the right choice in a few years .
He was aways going there from the moment he debuted .

Agree. Tommy can play second row. We have blore. Dias. Gardner plenty to choose from. I like the look of dias hope he kicks on. I think tommy is a keeper. The fact that the storm wanted him is a big tick.

He's miles better than Aiken is more what I am alluding too. I think he's really solid in whats currently a very very good team

Some talent around we just have to get the deal done.

How much can we get Sloane from the dragons for ? He'd make a good winger, transitioning to fullback in a few years.

Don’t think he’ll be as effective in the middle. The cowboys side does seem unbalanced in the way of backrowers.

U can forget Martin going anywhere , he is in the Cleary click .
These are my 4 players that I would target to make us a better team.
Lodge ( forget his past , he eats meters and is a good defender)
Aitken either backrower or center
Drinkwater covers half’s or fullback
Nikora or matterson to fill the backrower ( and again forget matterson pass he played his best footy here . )

Matterson won't ever be back after what happened.

For props it's not much better however movement of contracts are being talked about alot.
Klemmer & Thomson. Off contract their is experience in Marty, Tamou, Vaughan, Lodge and a few others. Honestly keeping Tamou in his current form would be fine and grabbing another experienced prop I would be a fan of as feel our younger props are a good 2yrs off.

A lot of our signings over the past two years were under contract with other clubs still...

Pascoe has stated the approach is to monitor situations and other clubs and strike if opportunity presents its self.

I keep suggested Tapine and Young because where there is smoke there is fire and they are realistic options who could seek releases. Rumours floating around for ages now they don't get along with the coach. Fresh club would do wonders for them....

We missed Barnett but maybe we should look at who will now miss out at the Warriors....

I think it's going to get increasingly difficult to sign quality players for next year given just how much of a factor the Dolphins are going to be. They have a lot of positions that need filling. At the moment they have only got 7 players signed and need basically a whole back line and spine. (Bold are already signed and italics are players they may target that are off contract in 2022).

There is bugger all available in the spine unless they can convince someone to break contract, so they will likely be spending their money elsewhere and sweeping up any decent players like Farnworth etc. Thankfully they've already invested a decent amount in their 2nd row, so we shouldn't have to compete with them too much there.
