Brooks .. so far NO Tigers coach has been able to get the best out of Brooks .. so let's appoint a former NRL, State Of Origin and Australian half back as our interim coach .. !! If anyone will be able to get our number 7 firing it should be and hopefully Kimmorley .. !! Brooks has the talent .. it's just finding the key that opens up all the talent .. !!

Guess we will just have to wait and see if Kimmorley can get Brooks firing or not.

If Brooks goes and ends up at a team .. say they Dolphins .. I'm pretty sure that Uncle Wayne will be able to get the best out him .. !!

If the Dolphins were willing to take on his full freight, that might be the best thing that could happen for all three parts of the equation: Luke gets a chance to escape the pressure, Tigers free up some coin to get a gun second rower and the Dolphins get a 5/8 to partner O'Sullivan in the halves.

I'd be less concerned losing AD than JH...
JH makes the team better, AD plays a bit more for himself...

Won't be for some time.

However, Carayannis said that the club doesn’t want to risk the health of one of their brightest stars for a season that has already all but finished.

“No, he won’t play,” Carayannis said to 1170 SEN Breakfast.

“This was his due date to come back but some at the club want to take a safety-first approach.

“He’s only 23 and he’s coming back off the back of a second ACL (injury) on the same knee.

“Their (the club’s) plan is to let him rehab for a little bit longer but there were some suggestions that he would miss the whole year.

“Adam is definitely keen to come back before then.

“He’ll be on the sidelines for at least another month before we see him play again.”

Its nice that the club has already written of the season. Shouldn't they at least pretend to care?

I just watched Sheens and Noddys presser. Sheens made reference to not having spoken to any prospective coaches out of respect for Madge, also thought his phone would be running hot today. If what he is saying is true, I can see this going bad for us with 2 other teams without coaches for next year, and what's to say Newcastle and Titans don't add to the merry-go-round shortly either.

Can we add that one to the already bulging list of new league vernacular like:
Culture, Shape, Leadership group, Eyes up football, Lead runner, Separation, Melee, Escort.

Should be a thread for contributions to start a rugby league dictionary.

Would be handy because half the time I don't understand what some people are talking about, maybe they don't know either.

The one I hate is "shape". I lost my shape 30 years ago, it's no big deal.

I get they want the new coach to have a say , but all good players aren’t going to keep waiting while we decide over the next 2 months who the coach is , other teams will be knocking and we will get left overs our juniors are years away , we need solid purchases at least 3 on top of API and Papi plus retain Hastings , Adam , Dane , , they should have had a coach selected , move Madge on and Friday drop his name and get buying players

No one is doing Brooks any favours by bringing up the one successful season he had and attributing to a coach that couldn't get out of here quick enough. If Brooks is hanging on to that then he may as well give it away now.
