Aim higher bruh.Zane camroux could be one to watch.
Most likely will be on a train and trial contact. Not quite ready for a development contractZane camroux could be one to watch.
We already only have 3 spots left. And some youngsters still unsigned and then the likes of Madden, Talau.Get the right coach and we can get 3 or 4 good signings
Was thinking the same thing. He bagged out the club on his way out and I’m sure anyone that was at the club when he left would not want him back.
Read after my rant but we're on the same page.I will also say EVERYONE is saying we need to buy markee players. I think we need to build a team that wants to play with each other. It rarely happens it happened in 05 with no markees. Madge couldn't pull our team together. Shitheads like matto alioa joe l and now luch l and i'm sure there are more undermined him and thier team mates. Cancer kills and if it lives in a team it will kill a team. Bulldogs bought a Markee team and what did it do for them. The answer has been answered and the results will come when they come. Ask any other team in the comp. It doesn't come easy and it is not frequent . I'm a Old Magpie but i love the Tigers just as much. Our time to roar will come again we just need to find our resolve. Its NRL not life.
I think your well written post reminds me why I was disappointed in the club terminating Madge when they did. I think there were significant inroads with the culture side of things and the positive on field results weren’t too far away with his approach. Was thinking the same thing.
I get the impression that a sea change is what (quite a few) people seem to be seeking due to years of "if you always do what you've always done...", which is understandable, however for sustained results any organisation needs the right people.
Right now they are finding it a bit difficult to attract quality players of good character (and are there really many realistic ones out there?), but Koroisau and Papali'i are great signings imo and defy the blanket "they can't sign anyone good" view.
Sorry to paraphrase, and I don't want to offend, but "not building a team on morals" to me is the antithesis of what will bring long term, sustainable success to the club. They need to be a club people want to be part of and a club is... People.
Good people attract good people. Players go to a team because they want to play with these guys, be coached by this guy... (Sorry about Trent, Viliame!)
Everyone wants to enjoy their job and when they do, they do it better, which translates to on field results.
...Which then breeds the expectation to win, which will bring the wins they currently don't get, which is the foundation for a club with a winners mindset permeated throughout.
It's hard being a tigers supporter but I'm encouraged that they are maintaining the course they've set and are not falling back into the trap of signing the Packers, Matelinos, (not Reynolds because I like him!) et al, in desperation that only results in more years of pain willing their contracts to expire so they're out of the cap mess they made.
Rant over! 🤣
Couldn’t agree with that anymore BP 👍🏼Ciraldo would be best. If not, Flannagan, which hurts me to say considering his previous actions, should be the next go to considering he has had premiership success and experience dragging a basket case up to a finals contender.
Morris would be far too soft on this lot and is more likely to be the players friend than hold them accountable. While he may be a good coach one day, I don't think he would be good for the club.
Guys, stop talking about Matterson and Lodge. Those two burned their bridges here and won't be back
I missed this post during yesterday’s debate. This is how I was thinking. CC comes with that rep of the next gun and the riff boys we have will back him to the others. Flanno comes with a rep of GF winner and some poor baggage but he’s experienced, but Morris comes in with a lack of rep and probably just seen as inexperienced, it’s human nature, I think Morris would struggle.Ciraldo would be best. I've heard it's Terry lamb 🤣🤣🤣Ofahengaue would have been a better choice imo 😆
You have to say being a quality Second Rower puts you in a great position for a big pay day.
Dolphins have secured Storm's starting Second Rowers and player from Cowboys
Storm will need to recruit two new Second Rowers for 2023. They lose 4 of their starting pack from last night's game
Wests Tigers need one or two Second Rowers
Parramatta need one or two Second Rowers.
If you are a quality second rower out of the above mentioned sides WT would probably be third pick unless player does not want to relocate to Melbourne.
Let's hope Blore stays injury free in 2023 and one of the development players can step up in 2023. I can't see WT securing another Second Rower from an NRL side. Maybe a fringe player at best.
In my experience second rowers are the guys that drive the mentality of your team. They are usually big, strong and fit.You have to say being a quality Second Rower puts you in a great position for a big pay day.

For me, it’s the single biggest reason Maguire didn’t work. Plodders.
If he was as good in the interview as he was in that post game presser then he's got it in the bag.Maumalo captain/coach. Interviewed brilliantly apparently.
Very good call there also in the best position on the field to lead line speed and talk to the hole teamIn my experience second rowers are the guys that drive the mentality of your team. They are usually big, strong and fit.
