Yes, I always had a high opinion of him. I'm not sure of the circumstances surrounding him signing with Souths. Tatola was another.

Couldn't agree more the airing the dirty laundry was a failed attempt at self promotion and further muddied our image I heard a lot of non tiger supporters calling it " fails from Tiger town "
What a pathetic loser attitude that is.I’m over Papalii. The guy seems like a knob. I don’t want him. Why would we want a guy that doesn’t want to be here? [This word has been automatically removed] him.

I agree with you. I don't mind Asi for depth but he's not the 7 depth cover. I'd be going hard for Dean Hawkins for that roleHe couldn't be a replacement for Madden. Madden is a halfback. An organising player. How good he is may be up for question but Asi is a utlilty back, but most definitely not a halfback. He's mostly a fullback/centre and a bit of 5/8 too.
If Brooks is going to be our 7 we need an understudy who is an organiser, someone who can kick us out of trouble. Asi could be a backup for Doueihi/Laurie
Sorry RP i thought i heard “development”club, or maybe it was “destitute” club, “deranged” club - certainly wasn’t “desirable” club!!Did you not hear that we are a destination club 🤣
Were these screwups the failings of hartigan?Yes, I always had a high opinion of him. I'm not sure of the circumstances surrounding him signing with Souths. Tatola was another.
Laurie has the potential to be one of our best, if not our best player. He could play fullback or 5/8.
Pole is in our 17 now, better than nearly all our front row options except Utoikamanu.
Brooks one of our best, if not our best.
No, I believe it was before his time. I watched Tatola and JMK play in Balmain SG Ball at North Sydney Oval. Were these screwups the failings of hartigan?

You are referring to his time under Maguire. Brooks always had a good short and long kicking game. He was always up there in try assists and of course his defence. He is not perfect, no one is, but look at Sheens, Marshall and Farah's view. They're a handy trio I would back on their opinions. If you ignore his poor long kicking game, being bereft of 5th tackle options and being behind most of the premier halfbacks in stats like try assists, offloads, forced drop outs & line breaks.
His claim to fame is being a relatively decent defender, but that's not a halfbacks job, and most other halves are in the same league for percentages.

As I wrote, you have three well-qualified individuals backing him. We've had this argument many times over. It's always been someone else's fault. He didn't have the spine apparently, but he had a spine with Moses, Teddy and Farah.
Then he didn't have the pack, but he had Galloway, Woods, Taupau, Gavet.
Then he didn't have the coach.
There's always an excuse with him. Other players and coaches have all taken the bullet when they've underperformed (I include Madge in this as well, before you try to go the apologist route on me,) it's Brooks turn.
