Yr 💯Prob not, or if he does, it wont be in the media as he will want to celebrate with fam or think it over. Also dogs need to think if they will edge their offer closer to ours, and who knows, eels might decide to cut Brown and come to the party.
Best player needs to be on the Best Salary.Club is confident to say the least, manager has asked for a meeting to discuss a couple key points. 4 year deal worth $4.5mil is on the table. @tigerap is right about Friday. Make or break meeting.
How the hell are the Dogs going to fit MM into their cap?Don’t think Eels will come up with the cash unless Dylan Brown signs elsewhere before Mitch.
Both sides of Tigers & Bulldogs seem confident from all reports
Marshall is the key to this potential signing. He seems to have a great rapport with players which is a huge advantage in a tough player market.
Easy,How the hell are the Dogs going to fit MM into their cap?
Has such a smug head.
Stuck in early 2000s.
I’m more worried about what the results say.Worse thing about it all is that if we get him, the media will say 'They paid overs and were desperate'.
If we don't get him they will say ' They can't attract quality players'.
Fair dinkum
OK does anyone have any updated info on Moses etc..
On the Dogs Forum they are very confident they have him and would not surprise me TBH.
I hope we have not thrown all our eggs in the one basket for him as not many halves around.
They believe the Salary cap might be sorted later this week or next so signings will start to be announced.
LCa, if our offer is $4.5m over 4 years, and Bulldogs is $4.6m over 4 years? What else is in our offer which blows them out of the water? Do we get Woodsy FOC?Dogs 1.1 over first 2 years with 1.2 the last 2.
He wants to go dogs but we are blowing their offer out of the water.
I guess win winHistory aside, Moses is a good short term acquisition. He won't win us a grand final, but he'll steer us into the 8.
Whether we believe him to be or not, he's considered generally as one of the better players in the game, he played in a grand final last year and landing him at this current point of his career along with the likes of Api and Papali'i starts to give us a bit of credibility in regard to being a club that players in the peak of their careers will want to go.
If he signs, a utilitarian view is needed, we're not a better team without him there. If he doesn't, we can all go on hating him for the way he left like we always have.
He also gets to work with current origin players at Bulldogs? This is panning out like all the other big fish we have chased. We are talked up as being in the box seat for weeks than as D day approaches seeds of doubt begin to emerge .
I tipped the Dogs weeks ago to come out of nowhere and win the race. Gus has been stroking Mm’s ego for years and the Dogs have a pretty good roster on paper.
Hope Iam wrong but I think Friday’s meeting will be all about getting a offer from us to take back to the Dogs
It’s the kicking game that is so valuable.Moses signing would be just so so great.
I'm not hung up about the past (which I feel is over-exaggerated), I just want success. What an upgrade on Hastings he'll be - he's got Hastings hunger and organisational skills but with speed, creativity and a kicking game.
will make for a great game against parra each yearI guess win win
Of course the other thing is, the Dogs are desperate for a no7….probably more than us, if that’s possibleHe also gets to work with current origin players at Bulldogs?
