Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

The Wests Tigers have increased their halves depth for the upcoming NRL season by signing Canterbury utility Brandon Wakeham.
Wakeham signed a one-year deal with the Tigers on Monday as a back-up for first-choice halves Luke Brooks and Adam Doueihi.

Veteran coach Tim Sheens signed the 24-year-old after being impressed with his performances last year, after he started the season in first grade before leading the NSW Cup side to the grand final.

He’s an important signing for the Tigers, given they’ve lost Jackson Hastings to Newcastle and Jock Madden to Brisbane.

Demps will be happy

I didn't pay any attention to him at the World Cup, how did he go alongside Api?

So we take dogs rejects to they can sign Moses... that sounds about right.

I hope he is not taking our last spot in the top 30
not entirely sure that a free agent on minimum wage is going to alter the Mitch Moses situation. the signing of Wakeham is perfect. excellent in Cup and can handle the rigours of first grade well enough and will benefit under the coaching of Sheens and Marshall. not sure what you expected.

to anyone who thinks that Wakeham signing affects the Moses situation, you need your head read. he isn't contracted anywhere, he's a free agent. 1 year minimum wage deal to be a backup half. if Moses signs he sure as hell won't be coming in 2023.

breathe.

But madden said he didn’t want to clean the players boots any more , so we let him go , because he had no other use 🤔
True true, hope he kills it at Broncos..

Old man Reynolds won't hold up the whole season..

Interesting, I wonder if there will be any further player movement before the start of the year then.
It does Band-Aid our most glaring requirement though.

But WT also are holding a free event when some schools are back. Better get on socials and express my disappointment

Every time someone refers to him as Loz I have to stop and think for a moment because when I think of Loz I think of Loz with the Schnoz. (Laurie Daley)
Yeah me too, but I thought I’d go with it this time.
