It would only be a combo due to injury / suspension. If Sezer is fit and playing well he will play no matter what.

Penrith have recently resigned Edwards and Martin on big deals and as such will have trouble keeping Luai . Dogs who seem to sign an unlimited number of players ( don't understand how they do it ) might try for him but with Burton and Sexton as half's why they need . Roosters with their "flexi "cap might bid .
Why can't we pull off a big signing and reunite Luai with Api .

Why is it?

You need 3-4 halves in the ranks.
1 experienced one is a must
2 kid’s isn’t a bad option. They need time to share the load.

It’s a heck of alot better than we have roster wise atm. Sullivan is also an attacking half with the ability to control the game.

Sezar is a 1yr term + option from reports so it’s clear we are looking at a youth future which needs some time over 1-2 years.

I was on the fence at first but the more process it the more I like it.

You could only risk one of those two in your squad at the same time. I’d choose Billy Smith if so. Smith has had 3 bad injuries. Burns seems to just always be injured.

Just watching Sezer in SL . He seems to be quite solid & i think will be a good addition. Also Blake Austin is playing very well. always with heaps of energy & testing the line. He appears to be the one organizing the Leeds team, more so than Sezer. I think he would be a good short term option as well for the right money. We could do worse.

Tbh I’d be running with Da Silva on the bench, Fainu & Sullivan may the best man win, genuine competition for a halves spot is a healthy situation to be in. I reckon it will be Fainu & Sullivan at some point together in the future anyway.

Austin was a bit blase about coming to the Tigers and said he "wanted to go to a good club". Not the personality we need.
