I can come up with some theories & my latest is Bateman & Naden to Manly.

1 - Generational talent Large (akin to a Top 4 AFL draft pick so has high value IMO) released to Manly.
2 - Bateman managed by Isaac Moses, Seibold’s manager.
3 - Bateman recruited to WT by Sheens & Warren Macdonnell. WMac now Manly’s recuitment manager.
4 - Manly could use another backrower.
5 - Naden recruited by WMac to WT too. Would be good depth there.

Who is with me?
Talk about making lemonade out of lemons. I like this alot

We came last in almost every grade. Have very very few players with any athletic ability and the best athlete the club has ever produced leaves at the age of 17 before we even get to give them a shot
No.

We didn't.

Wests didn't in; Matts (2nd), Ball (8th) or Flegg (7th); in a season where all our best juniors were playing well above their age category, far more than any other club, hence weakening every grade in the name of experience for the future.

So, unless you want to argue that our focus is in the Balmain Tigers pathways system primarily, then that statement is deliberately misleading and you know that.

Just seems like a locker room cancer along with his issues with coaching, think seyfarth or Tim J could step into his role and still be good while playing with lots of heart while not being on crazy money
Yeah I get that vibe from him as well, especially considering how he exited Canberra.

The Broncos get a well credentialed coach after a failed season, while we continue with a rookie coach and have now hired another one of his mates.

What a crap day.
A well credentialed coach who lost the sheds and was sacked at his last 2 NRL clubs, I say the Broncos can have him, he is a one trick pony with no plan B, suited to rep quality teams in short doses, like the origin arena

And also coaching exclusively against Billy Slater, don't forget that. The only way to get an easier run is to only ever have to coach against Brad Fittler.

question about the Broncs is whether their senior players are willing to back Madge.

Carrigan seems readymade for Madgeball, but Haas is unsettled and Reynolds has had major issues with him in the past. makes me a bit unsure.

if they buy in and they have better luck with injuries then I think he will absolutely win them a premiership. there is just too much talent in that side not to get there, but it comes down to buy in.

My guess is that there will be some players who are still dirty Kev got the bullet, I am praying for a train wreck, not sure Walsh, Haas, Cobbo, and the likes will buy what Madge is selling.
Then you factor in the Queensland verse NSW rivalry, it could be great viewing from the outside, tales of Bronco town

I don't think Large has demanded a first grade spot and I very much doubt Manly would as he isn't going to overtake DCE, Brooks or Tom any time soon and the CEO comments were about securing the spine of the future.
The clause request is very much a reasonable one in my opinion. Why would he want to commit long term if Galvin also does? Also, Why would we want him long term if Galvin does choose to stay? He seemed willing to stay but self aware enough to know he was likely 2nd fiddle, without adding the likes of Fainu and Sullivan to the conversation.
I'm all for standing up to unreasonable demands. I'm not convinced this was one.
He demanded to play one specific position.
That is not only unreasonable... for a 17 year old kid who's proven nothing it's being up your own clacker so far it's not funny.
