Not yet, just clickbait headline. Souths are looking at him as an option.Apparently tigers have released Bateman to join south’s (SEN). I think Riccio reporting

It's not april fools I hope you're being seriousApparently tigers have released Bateman to join south’s (SEN). I think Riccio reporting
Yeah it's behind a paywall, just says they're on his radar nothing officialNot yet, just clickbait headline. Souths are looking at him as an option.
Interesting thing about that list, whether we agree with it or not, is that some halves pairings are relatively stable in terms of what they offer and set chemistry, whereas others, like ours, could move up or down that list pretty erratically as the year plays out.
I think anybody claiming they'd be stoked with that outcome in 10 months time is simply burned. What would be everyone’s take if we finished equal on points for 8th but finished 9th on for & against,
Success or failure ?
We should be #2 on the list, Hynes goes missing in big games, and Moses/Brooks above us? Lol
They haven’t played together mate . I think where they are is about right . If it all goes to plan , they should move rapidly up that list .We should be #2 on the list, Hynes goes missing in big games, and Moses/Brooks above us? Lol
I think its fair for Richo to not say we'll just blindly accept a player who's been stood down pending criminal charges. Due process is very necessary.Tiny May wants to play with Terrell once he's cleared ( ? ). 100% wants in. Richo is the only obstacle, doesn't think he'll fit in. Big call coming....
Cleary could play with Brandon Wakeham and still be top 4
I agree with you there,Depends on the circumstances.
If the back half of the year is injury depleted sides fighting their guts out but just falling short, its a pass.
With a reasonably fit side who dropped some games they should have won through lazy efforts then its a fail.
Interesting, I'd have us a little lower. Very happy with the pairing's potential but it isn't realised yet and all tigers fans should be wary of the word potentialWe should be #2 on the list, Hynes goes missing in big games, and Moses/Brooks above us? Lol
In my humble opinion, Luai is proven in the NRL we're not paying on potentialInteresting, I'd have us a little lower. Very happy with the pairing's potential but it isn't realised yet and all tigers fans should be wary of the word potential
Wholeheartedly agree with you Tucker, no more fluff pieces, no more excuses, we need to walk the talk and produce results in 2025 and then improve for 2026 with the addition of a few more signings to strengthen the side. Not entirely sold on Benji as coach, hope I'm wrong, time will tell.2025 is a year of redemption. Nothing else should be tolerated.
We are not rebuilding. We need to win games of football using the large amount of imported players we have brought here in the way we expected them to perform when signing them.
As I said last week, enough is enough. Enough of the bloated puff pieces from club administration, players and members waxing lyrical about cultutre shifts and progression and green shoots and all that stuff. Weve been hearing that shit ever since Brooksy tore St George to pieces back in August 2013. Enough of the hero talk during the pre season only to then play like softcocks in round 1. Enough of the media setting us up to fail with editorials about how weve turned the corner only to resume kicking us in the head once the true colours of our football are revealed. Enough of missing simple tackles, having abysmal discipline and failing to convert gifted field position. Enough of fking losing all the damned time.
Anything from 12th position and under will be an utter failure.
Anything between 11th and 8th should be treated on its merits...i.e. serious injury to stars preventing finals berths can be seen favourably. Having a go for most of the year but clocking off half a dozen times during the year and losing games we shouldnt...is a failure.
We need to make the 8. We need to be competitive for the title in 2026 and be a favourite to win it in 2027.
2025 is a year of restitution and there's no excuses this time.
Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing how Rahme goes as well... Another product from Dundas ShamrocksI rate him highly as I did Seyfarth. I can see him growing into our team which is what we want at WTs.
I am also looking forward to watching the progression of Jaxon Rahme. Also one of our own and a former Aust Schools forward.
1-8 - successI agree with you there,
It’s more about the effort and circumstances than the position on the Ladder.
For us at the moment making the semi finals would just be icing on the cake.
I’m of the opinion that if we asked supporters of other teams which team other than the one you support had the worst 2024 season ?
The Broncos would win hands down.
Taylan May is a left sided player isn't he? From memory he has a left arm carry too. Can he play right?
I would think we are stacked on that side with Makasini, Olam, Turuva playing predominantly left side in their careers.
Need a right centre and right edge player who can defend.
Neither. That would be a pass mark only. What would be everyone’s take if we finished equal on points for 8th but finished 9th on for & against,
Success or failure ?
