Aren't Sully and Naden diggin their heels in? I expect if they can offload their contracts we would be delighted, but if we need spots freed up for somone that falls from the tree I expect Tumeth and Sukkar would be the sacrificial lambs.

Agree, Johannsen is such an awkward tackle! Reminds me a bit of Heilum Luki - you wouldn’t know if to tackle him if he ran those lines. Would love to see him start this season in the backrow! Defensively strong, runs hard and got a great offload! One of the those blokes that would never let you down and huge upside 🔥

God man, if you think this is bad, you should have seen me last off season 😅

Im considerably more optimistic this off season. Except it’s a given that at some point during the season that the defence and coach are going to major talking points. And not for the right reasons.

I have stated previously that i would love to see Tim Johannsen turn into a good player, but the way he's being talked up around here is a bit ridiculous and very premature.

He's not even in the top 30... He has 6 props in front of him in the pecking order, 7 if you include Seyfarth. I honestly believe its more likely that he doesnt even play a single NRL game next season than him playing 1.
