Why would any other team take Brown at his asking price? He's not a halfback. He hasn't one games on his own. He is also in and out off games all last season.

Dylan Brown is not. Player you would build a team around sorry. He might be once he learns consistency, but he's A fair way off from that.

He won't leave. Think Galvin will stay if Jerome is here.

As much as I would love Galvin to re-sign, we cannot be held to ransom by he or his manager and we have to be realistic about his price tag.
On the flip side you can’t blame him for wanting to see if the team improves and becomes realistic finals contenders in 2025 and beyond.
I am anticipating Latu Fainu to really break out and prove to be a player we cannot leave out of top 17 in 2025. If that eventuates it will be fascinating to see if Benji finds a way to fit both he and Galvin into our starting line up,

Latu will be our X-factor if given the chance.

I get your point, but there is every chance Galvin remains in the halves for a long time to come as he is a lot fitter, a lot smarter and a lot classier than a young Sirro junior.
The puzzle will be fitting Luai, Galvin and Latu Fainu all into our starting team. I have my theories on how it could be done and finding a way could determine the teams success over the next few seasons.

Might not be a half back but if you think a team like the dragons with Flanagan & Illias wouldn’t offer a representative 5/8 $1m I think thats completely wrong. $1m isn’t as prestigious as it used to be, we will see more & more jump into the club in the next few seasons as the salary cap increases

Depending on the year they have they could be in a worse position than us though on the racks (hence why Brown may be looking to get out). Wouldn’t make sense for Lachy to go there then if he is serious about being in a team that can challenge. And we should be in a position to offer him a pretty good deal as well including upgrading the final 2 years of his current contract if he wants it.

Surely I’m not the only thinking it would be nice to know what Galvin’s intentions are ASAP am I? Brown would make a handy replacement if we need to find one.

he also expects us to be pushing for Top 4 next year and says that we're 'a couple' players off having a Top 4 squad.

he said that our recruitment strategy will be assessed over the next 12 months as we look to take that next step.
