We are no chance of finishing 17th again unless we have a bad run with injuries to our key players.Foxsports has us coming 17th this season. Are we that bad?
Top 8 highly likely if a bit of luck goes our way with injuries.

That’s Buzz, Anastasia and Hooper for youFoxsports has us coming 17th this season. Are we that bad?
If I wasn't a WTs supporter id probably guess the same thing. God I hope we prove everyone wrong.Foxsports has us coming 17th this season. Are we that bad?
By getting driven back it’s not his upper body as much as his leg strength and centre of gravity. He doesn’t have a big base so that may contribute to it.If anything, I think yesterday showed that he isn't ready for first grade yet and NSW Cup is probably his level. He got out muscled and driven back quite a few times by younger Flegg players. He is definitely fit, but really needs to work on his upper body strength. May, Pole, Hunt, Klemmer, Twal and Sione all ahead of him at this stage with Rahme and Kit also looking more suited to playing through the middle against bigger NRL opposition.
Nah I’m sure he resigned with them only a few days ago.Jack Todd looked good for Bulldogs on Sunday. Can negotiate in November. Could have a big future.
Kai Pi#s Poor no thanksI’d go after Kai Pearce Paul . The only thing im
Nervous about is his ego is pretty big from all reports . But that can be a good thing .
No on paper we are not a last placed squad and although the same was said in 23 and 24, this squad is different. Its more rounded and has some genuine elite talent in it.Foxsports has us coming 17th this season. Are we that bad?
It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, but a good big fighter will always have it over a good little fighter. It’s just the way it is.
Mite is right.
Every off season I get stuck in our bubble and look at all the changes and say this is the year, our roster looks much better etc. Then just before the start of the year, I look outside the bubble and see what other teams are looking like and its a real reality check. Most teams have improved rosters, have addressed specific squad weaknesses. When you line teams up against eachother, most teams match pretty evenly.Anyone of about ten teams could get the spoon and we are in that bunch. There is very little between most teams and injuries, luck and depth will determine our fate.
The mid season grind will gives us a good indication where we are headed. I still think our pack and depth forwards is on the weak side. Also teams who introduce a lot of new players tend to struggle for a season
That’s based off a season prediction they done that doesn’t include new signings such as Luai, May and Hunt stupid I knowFoxsports has us coming 17th this season. Are we that bad?
Worry about it if we lose in round 1The Wests Tigers are most definitely a better side ON PAPER than the previous three years! My only concern after watching what was at best a NSW Cup standard game against the Bulldogs is that they still have a problem of finding a way of WINNING! Losing has become endemic in the club and just like Fox Sports I am not sure whether even the signing of a four times Premiership winning 5/8 from the Panthers can bury the Demons.
It just shows how much rugby league has changed over the years .. i remember playing with the coaches saying tackle the players around the the legs then slide down ton is lower legs to stop him from running .. then the second player comes in over the top knocking him to the ground and locking up the ball .. !!If anything, I think yesterday showed that he isn't ready for first grade yet and NSW Cup is probably his level. He got out muscled and driven back quite a few times by younger Flegg players. He is definitely fit, but really needs to work on his upper body strength. Buzz, Anastasia and Hooper. I wouldn't be concerned about what they wrote.what a weird puff piece from Foxsports .
All positive stuff then a kick in the balls at the end 🙄
Wow I don't know how they do it, compress 3 A Holes in the 1 media outlet didn't think it was possible.Buzz, Anastasia and Hooper. I wouldn't be concerned about what they wrote.
Penrith attack with there defence Warriors at times do it as good in patchesIt just shows how much rugby league has changed over the years .. i remember playing with the coaches saying tackle the players around the the legs then slide down ton is lower legs to stop him from running .. then the second player comes in over the top knocking him to the ground and locking up the ball .. !!
But today the defence all attempt stop the player running the ball up by putting 2 or 3 in each tackle and blocking the player .. then all 3 players lift and carry the attacking player back 5 to 10 meters until the ref calls held .. then they dump the player on the ground and the tackle in complete. Watch Penrith how they do it .. they experts making ground in defence .. !! Welcome to Rugby League in the 21st century .. !!
Galvin showed good intent with his early kicks - we just didn't hae the muscle to be effective agaisnt the larger Bulldogs pack. If we are able to get out of our end and facilitate giving the ball back to the opposition deep in a corner we are on the way to replicating that. It all starts with the back three!Penrith attack with there defence Warriors at times do it as good in patches
