Api needs to extend in my opinion. He offers way too much and TDS is physically not ready yet.

Its a really good get and Im still laughing at it to be honest.
I spoke about his numbers on here last year when we started talking about him as a possible signing. The numbers he put up for us the other night are no flash in the pan. He did it for the Roosters consistently last year, every time they gave him good minutes. There was one game where he played 80 minutes and punched out 210+ meters and 35+ tackles at around 95% and the very next week he got 40 minutes. They didnt appreciate what they had. He is a guy who gets stronger the more he plays and his numbers grow accordingly.
He is an 80 minute prop in the veign of Petro and Price....we are lucky, and the Roosters have made a huge blunder.

As of right now I'd say only Skelton but ideally also Da Silva and Galvin but would depend on costs whilst I lean towards Galvin already has one foot out the door.
Obviously I would like Luai to be retained but my stance is he has a healthy enough contract in front of him already, don't negotiate anything more with him.
Api is a wait to see how he and Da Silva are tracking. Fair chance he is done by the end of his current contract.
I think Bird will be good for us and may earn an extension but wait til he earns it. I doubt there's going to be much competition for his signature.
I think Toa is our best centre and would like to see retained but another that needs to earn an extension and someone that there is surely better available in the market place.
The others I would not be looking to re-sign but again improved form this year may change my mind.

Bula? He didn't play badly I didn't think. Good defensive plays. Needs to sharpen up in attack a little bit that game against Panthers that time in the wet showed me he can be really good.
Bateman and Klemmer. Think Papalii was a god deal for his form at Parra. Was only on 625k or something here. Bateman was on 600k and that is 150k over what he should be. Rep or not.
Klemmer was cheap in first two years due to Newcastle but this year he's on 800k? Definately good deal getting rid of him.

No thank you, If he gets a suspension for indiscretion and asks to pay a fine, he prefers to not pay fine, and sit out of team for that time,

One of the people he was talking about was Papal'ii. Klemmer's salary in 23 and 24 was majority subsidised by Newcastle. Your assessment of Bateman is also wrong. He had the runs on the board and was still a current International....and not for some teir 2 setup, but England. 600K for that was very reasonable.
I dont think that number is correct. At all.

Only shown glimpses of what he is possible of, 700k to be realistic is hope for potential at the moment, needs a big season now.

I'm certain we only got Klemmer out of his last year at Newcastle, not 2 years.
Newcastle paid two years party. Then we paidfull freight. Averaged put to 650k or something but this year and the next would of been full freight.

He did that in one instance, yes.
Believe me, the only reason it was (reluctantly) mentioned is we need 'first grade' second rowers yesterday and the remainder of the year on a cut-price contract was worth a mention.
Any other first-grade standard edge suggestion will probably Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon Ryan immediately, but the cupboard seems beyond bare as of options for this current season.
Hopefully a less-rotten fruit pops up very soon.

Ok, maybe you are right there. They really should make these guy's salaries more transparent. We dont need to know their take home pay but surely what they take from the cap should be public.
