I really thought it was a given.

His head space is obviously not right.

I'm still hoping we pick up Taylan May. Seems unlikely the long it goes. We just look at bit stacked in
the backs now. I'd prefer to move a few on.... Interesting what happens with staines though maybe
for May.

We do need more NRL depth in the forwards on the edges but i wouldn't mind us having
a look at Adam Elliot too at lock. Richo has been pretty impressive shaping the roster. Curious
to see what he does with the remaining spots.

What a bizarre move when we’re already having depth issues… why waste a valuable top 30 spot on someone who could play NRL already?

I agree, it is odd, but it does open up a dev spot.

Maybe they've got somebody in mind for a development contract and think Sol would be better suited to Top 30.

But that's just spit balling.

I'd say this is to create room in the Development squad for Makasini when he turns 18 in July. We were already at a max 6 dev spots when Tristan Hope was upgraded.

It's a puzzling situation not knowing what's going on with Staines, could be injured or on the way out for Taylan or some other left field signing.
One thing for sure we all hate being left in purgatory over the matter, hope something comes to light soon to clear things up.

With no actual knowledge there is a possibility that the tigers have asked may to get footy ready. Go hit the gym get your fitness up etc and we will review in 6 weeks or something. He just might not be footy ready after such a long lay off

not to the top 30, no, but if they perform then there's spots on the development roster that are available.

Lobb might get the opportunity to stay around, but he doesn't have what it takes to play grade. at this stage I think it's unlikely.

I can't see them keeping Feledy. I'd be extremely surprised if they aren't trying to find him a club now.

I personally think the Tigers have single handedly ruined Matamua's development. He is a solid player but why on earth is he playing Ron Massey. He hasn't been given the opportunity to play like others have.

Bullshit. He’s been given plenty of opportunities and he’s blown it nearly every time, whether it be through his poor defense, discipline or turning up fat and out of shape. He started his career with a sin bin 5 minutes into his debut and it hasn’t gotten any better since. Benji put him as a starter last year and he did nothing but his usual.

Good riddance to another low effort player.
