Bula is a great fullback , and we should do whatever we can to keep him , but if he’s got one foot out the door , there is literally heaps of options Available , both internally and externally.
It is simply nothing like the Teddy situation where we lost him and the guy who should have replaced him in Papenhuyzen.

Pretty much agreed.

I don't think we have a lot of options internally though. Juniors coming up, Mason who hasn't been very good.. We could replace internally, but we would loose a dynamic player who can cross the line.

We would pay top freight for Paps I think. Warbrick though could be interesting, doubt the storm would part with him, but could be interesting.

Plenty of options and plenty of clubs that kinda want to move on their fullbacks. Bula does seem like a player I want to keep, but not for crazy money.

Something that stuck with me "past behaviour is the best determinate of future behaviour".
If AE has slept around, he will probably keep sleeping around. Not saying certainly, I am saying give the guy an opportunity and he will dive on it.

Look I like the guy, he has attitude. But he doesn't seem to add value to what we are doing. I would be looking at NZ though. someone with Bunty may be a good idea.

I get players like JL say I’m going to market they have ten calls by 8am, but surely players like our Baby Giraffe was not extended then his manager would make ten calls by the end of the next day?
I didn’t think much of that bit.
What I have noticed is Elliot is a bit inconsistent and a bit of a goose, and has now been not extended at 2 clubs and is currently injured, and 30, that’s exactly the long term signing we used to make.
Personally, I think I’d rather a baby giraffe than a goose. 🦒 / 🪿

He also said Bryce Cartwright was going to develop into the best forward the game had seem when bringing him to Penrith. He is in his managers ear 100%

His missus would be earning more money than he is moving forward, playing at the Roosters and with the Channel 9 gig… not much on offer for her in the UK… he’ll find a team here …

True. I don't believe he would fit the culture Marshall wants at WTs plus he is in the twilight of his career and unwanted by the Knights.
