Will be 20 in 27 but still only a youngster, suppose that depends on Benji's feel for his progression, if he thinks he's ready Benji's never been shy at throwing them in the deep end as we have already witnessed.Yeah, each had a 4 year ban. Earl then did and ACL once returning to training before getting on the field giving him an extra year out of the game.
I see no reason Fainu couldn't come back. Sure it has been a little longer out of the game than the others but 29 isn't so old that he will have lost any physical abilities. Sure he won't have had the professional development but his core skills would remain from the years of junior footy.
I think this is probably all for nothing anyways as I'm not sure any club would want the headlines that would come with him.
I don't know much about Haywood having never really watched him play, but not many teenage hookers in the NRL. Id think he'd less likely be able to handle first grade than Fainu in 27.
Latu hopefully gets more vocal and nails down the halfback spot with Manase coming off the benchIf out on Parole , club would check it with both the NRL and his conditions for parole , earning a living by playing footy should be allowed I would think but NRL rules I’m not sure , it should be ok as he is out , served his time and looking to change his life under coaching for footy , club most likely has assistance as well in areas for education , etc , he needs to be training hard now for fitness , rest will come once out and training under coaches
That's the real question. How many wins do U have?
We need another goodThat's the real question.
I looked back at the table. We need min 14 wins to make the 8. Ideally 16 wins or 32 points on the ladder.
Thats a 60% win percentage.
2025 we got a 38% win percentage.
I mean we have 12 home games, 2 away games at our home ground and another 4 in our home city so effectively 18 games without leaving home.I disagree with this take. I dislike the Broncos as much as anyone and would agree they have had to many advantages for too long. One of those advantages is very few 5 day turnarounds and the free to air games they get. But typically with that comes a tougher draw. They usually cop more top 8 sides than anyone because broadcasters want them playing other strong teams.
As for a couple of extra home games. Well magic round is a bit of a rort but hardly that big a deal, particularly as it's not a home crowd. And playing Dolphins there isn't a valid complaint in my opinion. Similar scenarios play out all the time.
Edit: just read further on you touching on the free to air games and the advantages they bring. This is correct but until recently the NRL had no say in the scheduling, it was the broadcasters choice. I think the NRL have actually taken a big step in evening this up recently.

i don't think it matters about headlines when it comes to the tigers, we are in them whether we do something wrong or not.. may as well roll with it. We lose nothing giving him a train and trial contract...Yeah, each had a 4 year ban. ‘We’re building something special’: Jarome Luai on Benji, Bula and how long he’ll be a Tiger
Jarome Luai once likened himself to Batman in explaining his motivation for leaving the Panthers. Now, he prefers a different superhero analogy.www.smh.com.au
I wonder how many years he signed for, I like Bula but I actually hope its not a crazy long deal and I hope its under 800k a year..... Bula has potential but had a very mixed bag in the internationals and he isnt mr consistent liek A dylan Edwards, for me he is abit like Lateral, on his day his one of the best in the game but he doesnt do it week in week out, to be fair he hasnt had much behind him, but 2026 we have a slightly better squad especially on the edges so I believe he really needs to nail 2026.nrl_nostradamus on instagram

Play him in Ron Massey or Reggie's see how he goesYou're talking about Manase Fainu, how much football would he have played in the big house we don't even know where his heads at, that could be the furthest thing from his mind.
Could he make a successful come back after all that time away from the game, I have my doubts.
