While that is true, it is a good sign that he was trying to get to the ball on the full in difficult circumstances. I would rather see the young guys giving it a crack than letting it bounce.

I'll be honest, all this talk of us making a late swoop for Lomax doesn't make much sense to me given we're already trying to fit Makasini and Skelton in, but it would be a welcome headache to have.

Front loading the deal so makes books look better next 2-3yrs.

I heard 950 then 900 and 900 . 50k probably to Moses. We agreed to his 2 but he wanted 3 years. Considering blokes at the pub 24/7 , idk man where he gets hes info but has had good mail in the past. Wnd id pay a little extra unfortunatley we need Bula if we want a chance of making top 8 which is crucial for the club and Benjis future regardless of extensions. Attard is years away has a lot of physical development before he is considered for FG.

Why are we always against signing quality players and hes a top level player that would turn our backline into a top 8 side.. Teams like storm and Dogs dont care abt these things. Sign him for 2 years and get us playing finals so we can attract quality players without paying overs.
Agree with the catch, was more concerned by the poor defence/awareness on the line for the Roosters try from dummy half.

That may be a little harsh GNR he did at least go for it, although did have a touch of Mason in it lol. but comparing him to Bula is insane the kid still has a few years of growing physically.

More to building a good team than just buying any old player with ability but with team ethos issues. Remember how Ryan Matterson ended for us!
Just can’t see it happening but look, if it did, I’d trust Benji’s judgement as he is huge on character.
I hate front loading deals, particularly if we're stupid enough to front load one player's deal. Gets to the final year or two and they are undervalued (because they have essentially been paid in advance) and suddenly they are not happy at the club and want to seek opportunities (pay upgrade) elsewhere.

I don’t see Bula as a million dollar Fullback anytime soon.
? All fullbacks who are starting calibre for thier team will be above 900-1mil . Especially when the new broadcasting deals come through . And simply you’d have him around 10/11 in most lists. it is what it is .
And it’s supply and demand . The problem is there’s 2 clubs who seem incapable of developing fullbacks who are nrl calibre .the dragons have a list a mile long of elite talent at fullback they couldn’t make nrl calibre . So they are willing to pay a premium for anyone who resembles nrl talent at that position. They’re literally paying a washed Gutherson 750k right now to do it .
And Connor Tracey . I mean to be honest he’s just another Moses Mbye level talent out of the dogs. Which is I guess fine ? They have zero - nada -zip , anywhere in thier juniors at fullback . That even looks like nrl potential . So both have obviously driven up his market along with the Isaac Moses Tax we seem to have to pay for the pleasure of employing one of his clients .
Dogs have David Bryenton and Raymond Puru from the Gold Coast. Both have NRL potential

Dogs worked it around Connor's deficiencies, He looked top 5 for a while.
If the talent is not there ,why pay for it, bolster the ,workers l around them on a top up . Side note , smallish agile ,like what i saw that trial game .
How the game calculates its new bench positions is just a media toss imo,
How the coaches think like sheep ,over this season ,will change the bench , player ,type in a short time time, think we are well positioned player wise ,
