Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

It’s a struck match between him & Slater all time in my opinion. Teddy more consistent, Slater a little more brilliant.

Somehow he’s still underrated by many.
Yes they are close. I’d take Billy as he had game management attributes, but not by much.
Ted is crazily underrated and because he doesn’t have Walshes blinding pace is not rated by young people.
I think Walsh is still a very poor fullback who is a brilliant runner.

Being a Tigers supporter I guess I value consistency as it’s not something we get to witness that much. Teddy always seems to be an 8/10 or above, more than anyone I’ve ever seen.

It's strange that Leeds have announced Bird yet no word from the tigers. Clubs always announce player departures- maybe they will do it this weekend and also announce a re-signing? 👀

Thought Bunty was great!
What we needed and what Royce never delivered.

I really liked Bunty's efforts defensively. He pushed across covering the middle with great effect and attitude. His carries were strong. Royce doesn't get close to the top 17 for me. Pole was great off the bench, really happy with how he played. Twal fantastic. May obviously comes back in and Charlie Murray provides a point of difference off the bench with leg speed, effort, some ball playing and also hooker coverage which is important. Sione was aggressive in contact and had some good carries. Royce and Seyfarth miss out for me.

Charlie Murray was a real handful. He was good last night.

He’s gone from pathetic to unpathetic. Approaching good.

Mate I thought he showed signs last year. Coming from nowhere when he got his chance he ran hard and showed some skill. I saw him as a decent depth player. Looks like he may have progressed to one of those unheralded smaller middles other clubs seem to find but we never do. Cheap and full of heart.

I think he has upside and a job to do for the club he will get better

I was looking at other clubs they would have on average 6 to 8 minimum wage players to retain elite players you have got to find some diamonds in the rough

Jack Attard
Javon Andrews
Jock Madden
Jared Heywood

Not to mention the Q cup lads, Hope & Murray, looking to have gone another level.

And the future superstar, Makasini.

The future is bright 🌞
Attard, Andrews and Haywood are all locked down, not sure about Madden. Clubs imo will come calling for Madden whose game has matured with his time at the Broncs and also under Marshall. Funny we have these good young halves developing under Marshall.

I don’t mind the idea of Skelton potentially at right centre.
Would Taylan May be comfortable and just as good at right centre which would allow Makasini to play in his favoured left centre position?
Is left center our problem?

Hellelujah!

Normally I would say it's better to keep the rookie in their chosen position. Just left center is normally more defensive and May would better suit it.
