Look, differences aside, i'd rather play under Benji with our squad than under ciraldo. However the rest of the NRL see it differently with the Gus/Ciraldo vision of their "dynasty". I know you will never admit it given your position, but the perception of this place is up the crapper because of a certain group.. if that wasnt in the mix, then maybe we could be a destination club.. but not yet

I think Xerri should sign with us the rest of the year ..he will probably end up playing plenty of first grade …I doubt Bellamy wants him

Yeah but 2 of those three are injured …I think Toa is a crock…

Heard that Xerri is only on $350k ..if true he only has $200k left this season

Xerri wants to leave because he had to play one game in nsw cup.
If he comes here he wil have to fight for his position... so how's he gonna feel about that?

Thought he wanted to leave because of him switching sides, he prefers the To’a side and if we sign him it also frees up Makasini to play wing. Have heard his defence is solid and he’s fast and strong. Could think of worse short term signings like who some seem to alway compare us to the eels and Brian Kelly

We have a chance to make the 8 this season .., It’s likely Xerri is better than Toa and might only cost $200k the rest of the season

Yeh for runners bone stress injuries can take more than 6 months to recover (https://complete.clinic/2019/08/bone-stress-injuries-runners-beware/). Obviously it’s situational but starford isn’t exactly the poster boy for healthy nrl players

I would need to know more in regards to whats going on at the Dogs with him before ruling this out. My gut tells me the Dogs are the issue more than Xerri, but thats just a feeling. If that was to be the case, I'd be all for signing him. He was a very good goal kicker as a junior too, I wonder if he has continued practising as it would be handy to have a back up to Doueihi.

Pretty sure that’s not true. The offer tabled to him is the money saved from the 6 months of Bird . So prob 200k , as a top up . Plus the 900k for 4 years .
