The good news keeps on coming first Turuva now Makasini, it really is a mixed emotions with the team at the moment.

Feeling crap straight after the games with recent losses with the horror injury toll but it doesn't last long with the good feeling that the club roster looks secure for years to come, only a few more to go.

Adding the good reports of some of the juniors progressing through the ranks is good to hear, just hope some of them prove to be gems.

Injuries are part of the game, but to be able to be re-signing these young kids in this market with PNG and Perth lurking it absolutely massive and shows how we are trending. Benji and Shannon Gallant on FIRE. I was upset at losing great juniors like Conti, Large, Nasser and Clarke brothers that are doing well at other clubs. This is restoring the faith in a big way.

I know it's probably a stretch to fit him under our cap considering all the extensions but if there was money for Paul Alamoti I would go hard for him, powerful gun centre.

Has there been any such reports for any of the resignings? I've only heard positive media talk regarding the re-signings thus far and even fairly positive regarding Luai leaving.

(ask Parra fans how they feel about their relaxed recruitment methods)

I'm not decided one way or the other, But if every club is holding tight the way they usually do in regards to urgency around re-signings, They might be the ones in for a shock.

I find it odd,
The Media are usually on us about not locking up our future early enough,
Now they're on us for locking them up early...

I'm not decided one way or the other, But if every club is holding tight the way they usually do in regards to urgency around re-signings, They might be the ones in for a shock.

Other than Kent, and maybe a few murmurings or a throw away line here and there I have not seen any negativity about these signings in the media...in fact they have mostly been positive reports. I'm sure they have found out what we have paid and if it was overs the word would be out there and repeated often.

Yeah I meant the negativity that Tom was referring to regarding the reports. Someone else commented that Kent (on a podcast) has suggested we're paying overs to keep players. Mainstream media however has been quite positive in my opinion.

Given the Fainus have the same manager as Makasini (Crown - Tartak), I reckon it's pretty much guaranteed they will all stay - more chance of success that way.

Totally agree with you 1000% and also the STEALTH of dropping re-signing after re-signing WITHOUT THERE BEING ANY F$#@!! LEAKS is MINDBLOWING TOO!!!

This is what happens when the right people are driving the bus and they are there for the betterment of the club and not themselves.

Im an occasional listener to the Levels podcast with Willie Mason and Justin Horo. They were saying a few weeks ago who in their right mind would re-sign now when you can wait till nov.1 and leverage PNG - very happy the Tigers have proved them wrong.
