The dropped ball was bad but you are way too harsh about the miss on Kiraz. One on one with the attacker having momentum wins that battle a lot. Would have been a great tackle. Seyfarth the only one to be critical there in that try, maybe Laui as well.

I was under the impression he has signed long term with the Dolphins.

Iv been saying for ages Katoa is the next best after Cleary, hes only young but watching him play against the opposition theyre playing league, Katoa is playing 4d chess. Talk was if he came back it would be for Wayne at Souths. I reckon Benjis approach to football and life may entice him. Plus all the polynesian guys already at the club. I hope we can nab him without stupid clauses. He will be bigger for us than Luai. Hes a 10 - 15 year top quality half.

I might have jumped the gun there.
I saw the headline and typed the question into AI and it said Wests Tigers were targeting Katoa. I already knew they were after Averillo, that's been a badly kept secret for a while now, thought it was a new headline.

So either AI is conjecturing (and the Averillo story was just rehashed) or, as AI went into some fairly detailed hypothesis that Katoa was being touted a long term replacement option there may be something to it?

Sorry if I got everyone's (including my own) hopes up if this is wrong, but where would AI get that notion from?

What I typed in was "Who are Wests Tigers targeting at the Dolphins to replace Luai?' and AI came back naming Katoa and going on further to compare the two players, mentioning the potential war chest the WT have as well as current & up coming halves talent at the club.

IDK? Your guesses are as good as mine??

Hard to believe but amazing if true. Would be 1.2mill easily. Doubie to centre and Fainu to 5/8.
Although Fainu has a very, very similar game to Katoa.

Be just as happy with Avarillo at 600k at centre and Fainu and Doobie in the halves
He's had a breakout season and offers real speed and strike power
