Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Train and trial deal.fir the remainder of the year.

Apart from him saying something stupid the I don't see much risk.
Just watched his Japan rugby highlights - certainly has dropped a yard of pace, but an absolute gun in the air and hard to tackle. Not sure how he'd go with the speed of the game, but I reckon he could still hold his own physically.

As a Herbert style signing that fills in for centre, wing and fullback to get us through to the end of the year, there's no harm having him on a train and trial with the Magpies and backup for first grade.

Hell awaits you brother

Repent!

I look.for things like this...but its really hard to gauge.

I noticed last week we seemed.to be laughing and mucking around a bit in the warm up while the dogs seems intent focussed and serious...it had me a bit concerned....but as we know we.won that

Penrith seem to be ultra professional ...melbourne.

I remember 05 how we'd run out for games laughing smiling and happy...it seemed to me to be not the time and place for that

Some.of the pod guys go to training often ie nearly all the time...ive asked a few times is what they dish up on sundays sililar to taining?
Its baffling to me.how we can go from the defealnsive resolve we showerld against the dogs to the pathetic.embarrasing display yesterday

Id also question if our assistant coaches are the BEST men fir the job because its one helluva coincidence theyre all old benji teammates if they are
I’ve said this now for a while about our assistant coaches. They’re Benji’s mates, He’s not threatened by them, he’s comfortable with them. I remember when Sheens had Steve Folks (premiership winning coach) as our high performance coach, that was during the 2010,11 era and we looked great.

Re Folau would much rather us chasing an actual current NRL or fringe player to help with depth. Seems like a waste of time.
Who? Most years, something drops out of the tree around this time, but doesn't seem like much around this year.

I dare say, most on here would complain regardless of who we signed.

It’s not up to me to decide ….

Didn’t they run him out of his town during his last job for “speaking up?”
He hasn't said boo since - I really don't see the issue. It was at the height of woke - bad timing more than anything. Since then the Manly guys refuse to where the pride jersey, but that seemed to be ok.

I really don't want to spark this debate up again though - it's old news and frankly a storm in a tea cup.

What ? The Manly thing was massive and derailed their season!

I don’t recall at ithe time it being a “Storm in a teacup” with the Folau incident.. He hasn’t had a platform since …are we gunna give him one now …
