If a rival NRL club offers some of our best up and coming players a lot more money than what we are willing to pay them, the chances are very high they will make the move.
It was not even a secret that our approach over the past few years was to let them walk as we were not willing to match rival offers to keep them.
This meant the only up and coming players we could realistically keep and fend off rival offers were the ones we were putting on Development contracts or top 30 contracts.
No idea how anyone can state we are a development club when that is your thought process ?

Look at the Dragons and how many good juniors that club has lost including Colquhoun, Bostock and good young halves to Souths. Unfortunately, the Dragons, the Panthers, WTs and other clubs with large nurseries will be targeted.

Boggles my mind Ink how other teams can have players come in and do a job when injuries hit, the players dont look special, but they can get the job done. When we have to do the same thing the guts we bring in are lightyears behind depth standard, let alone N.R.L standard.

I think it was the amount t of backup players we had to bring in, maybe I'm wrong.

I don’t know if I’m reading about junior pathways, gay footballers, bigots, something someone said about how we’re not going to pay overs for players anymore, but no one can remember who. My life is confusing enough already, i think I’ll come back and check to see if we’ve signed someone at a later date 🏃‍♂️

Alverillo , not sure if this is a singing still as nothing from club and it’s been couple weeks , I would like him on board and believe he def would add .
Billy Walter’s , dollars may stop him coming back to Sydney but he has been here and always had a crack , good back up , but think he stays in qld .
Shaun Blore been here was good bar injury but would be solid addition .
These 3 strengthen our nrl team as they are all able to play nrl or Reserve grade , better than all our reserve grade at present , I also feel there could be a few players coming that we don’t know about yet as we need to replace , Kit , Luke , Geyer , and most likely Toa and Bunty , Bunty for me should have been used in firsts more from the start , he looked super fit lost all excess weight and was best performer over offseason , more game time more better he goes , was very good in the trials , Benji mistake for me , we have had players on the bench that were rubbish , I don’t get the Bunty signing now , to come from NZ to play reserves don’t make sense , anyways just my 5 cents worth

An independent audit to identify where everything has gone wrong and continues to go wrong. Independent directors who have more control than the mob. Basically just reverse everything to how it was in November 2025 when things were on track.

It’s a catch all thread … been that way forever … they just had one of their worst ever losses … and for our club that’s saying a lot .. I’m not surprised things are sideways this week

He wants to come back to Sydney. So even if he was looking to back out, it wouldn’t be to go to the Titans.
