Brooks is still a liability when he is asked to be the chief playmaker. I don't think he was bad as a 6 when he played with us and at the time Benji was keen to resign him. I don't think he is a better player at Manly, just playing his right position and not being asked to steer the team or complete sets. My criticism of him at the tigers were his last tackle options and i don't think that has changed much at Manly when he has had to take on the role. He has always been a great defender for a half and great running 6, also has relatively soft hands to pick up a back rower or FB/Centre running a line. DCE > Fogarty > Walsh has meant he is pretty safe not needing to step up.

100% he is a 6 not a 7 and is not the main man at all. He is a running 6 when he plays 7 he craps the bed

This week it is the NRL going easy on judiciary punishments. I can't understand why and there is nothing to see here.

In regards to the Leichhardt Oval upgrade .. $40M doesn’t get you a lot .. !! The main grandstand get the most of the $40M spent on it with:
Key features of the proposed redevelopment include:

• Renovation of the historic western grandstand, including new stadium seating
• Four NRL-compliant female-friendly change rooms
• New hospitality and media facilities

Then a new stand at the northern end (?) .. that is not covered.

the plans have changed from what was first proposed ( originally the new grandstand was covered) so it’s a little confusing what they are getting now , which to my knowledge has not been disclosed in detail…I thought the original plans also included some corporate areas in the new stand underneath…

1500 seats …. Barely worth the effort otherwise
