If Dearden is currently on 12% of the cap and after the increase in the salary cap will still be on 12% of the cap, what’s the issue? He is being paid the same proportion of the cap. The dollar number is irrelevant. People will need to get used to and accept these higher salaries.

That's how Melbourne work they break it down to percent as a whole so they never over pay I think each spine gets 36 percent of the cap
