the last time i believe anyone was penalised for running or passing after being called held was David Noufaluma, the next time it happens will be to a tigers player.

Yeah it changes the game entirely IMO
However, the rules have not favoured us for 15 years, so a shake up might finally be something that turns our fate around.
I hope it happens just for the sake of having hope for this team again lol

If we are relying on a rule change for when we concede a try to finally become competitive than we are at rock bottom.

If they’re going to change this they should just change it to the try scoring team kicking off. Should be black and white not an optional thing.
Might do something to slow the momentum shifts down which is where WT usually implode.
I think it could add to the blowout scores. Good teams are able to make a statement with their defensive intensity.
If you’re dodging that there’s a chance you’re conceding that you’re out of the physical battle and you make errors coming off your line, and concede again. Could easily snowball.
From a coaches perspective I think you want to make a statement in defence after conceding.
Interested to see how it’s used.

Never give up the opportunity to have the ball and score more points. Maybe there would have been appeal in the 90’s. But today? How fast the game is. How far you can go with momentum? Just look at last night.

Why are we so dumb when we train all week just like the other teams (supposedly).
Definitely improves our depth. Get used to these sorts of signings this offseason I reckon.
This would be excellent for us. I have concerns over Api. His passing generally, but especially under fatigue, has been terrible this year.
