Because they're failing (for over 20 years now), and they continue to grasp at straws.

The unfortunate thing is that there are a lot of HBG Magpie lovers. The majority are old school men, which I understand. However, this club has not helped us, as the Wests Tigers football club.

Please find a private owner, rather than a bunch of old men that want a final pension and are destroying our club.

As a board member you are accountable for financial decisions and their failures… although not sure if the weird debenture set up of our club would somehow protect them.
Can’t really see how though.
