If you have actually watched the games it has been his unheralded centre partner that has set him up for a lot of those tries ,,, and nobody seems to even notice .. faingaa the 25 year old has been incredible

He’s depth has been terrible the whole time he has been here and he mostly built it.
It’s either a cop out or just plain old incompetence to claim it’s something they’ve just discovered. He didn’t need to bring it up either….

Played for the cedars in the last world cup, so I'd assume he's friends with Twal + AD.

It’s definitely a trending. A good long kicker adds to their effectiveness as they sometimes make restricted metres.
Personally I think you still need a 1st play prop that can make metres under pressure.
Speed of the ruck is paramount in today’s game. Imagine if these rules came in 2006

I agree with that. Having May on big dollars is a huge issue. He definitely has it in him with the right attitude and coaching, but im not sure he has that desire. He just want to play long minutes and be lazy when he feels like it.

He was one of a number of Illawarra juniors who signed for the Raiders, he signed a 3 year deal in 2021. I think up to six were poached in one year. He played for Aust Schools and may be a late bloomer.
