I can't think of one half in the ESL that is NRL standard
And yes I'm ruling out George Williams as he will be at the Dolphins next year

We have gone 15 years without an NRL standard half,what makes yiy thunk we are looking to change that?

I ran the Deardon rumour past my Cowboy mate, who has pretty good connections. He said Deardon is signed to 2029 and his girlfriend now moving up to Townsville.

Smith is contracted to the Knights until the end 2029

That’s what’s been said for weeks now. But it was also said that it all depends on how comfortable his girlfriend is up there. Plus while that was being said his management was gauging any interest with Sydney clubs.

Dearden is on 1.4 million this year
Next year he's on 1.5 million
In 2028 if the cap goes up to 18 million he's on 2.25 million he has the best contract in the NRL and in 28 it's goes up to 20 million cap he's on 2.5 million

Which considering most Sydney clubs wouldnt have that availble in there cap idk where hes going to sign. We might be a chance after all if Gus doesnt flick Burto and some how have 2m available.

Too be fair this would have been a Doltone House thing that was prepared by someone outside the club who wouldn't comprehend why a team would be called Wests rather than West, like most teams

It’s all quite on the western front with AD. Surely if he was going there would have been some news by now. I just don’t see a role for him in our 17. He is not a seven, not a six, not a 13, not a centre and not a back three. Okay he can probably play all those positions but not excel. At some clubs he may be just what they need but for us it’s time to move on

Bula is a superstar in the making . He couldn’t even get his arm to 90 degrees most days even with a needle .
You could tell when he couldn’t push through tackles and more dynamic stuff like switching hands ,stepping side for an offload .
