He had some good plays today but I don’t rate Sandon Smith. He’d do nothing to improve our side IMO.

Last years wooden spooners are now grand finalists. They were able to get their act together. Not us. We just added another year to the pile.

Last years wooden spooners had a team with Bradman best , KPP , Thompson , marzhew , the mullet brothers , and decided the best course of action was to play 5 hitups and a kick .
They sack that myth , get a coach who by all accounts isn’t half bad , and more importantly is a knights old boy , gets buy in after building a structure around these players and low and behold the team comes good . Also last years wooden spooners had one of the top 5 players in the game sitting on the sideline/ out of form .
You can talk shit all you want mate . And come on here and wallow have a big misery party , but it’s pretty repetitive to be honest .
We also beat last years wooden spooners this year and the team they’re playing when they were firm in the middle of their form turnaround .
So the optimist might say , if we have some good fortune with some clever tweaks there’s nothing to say we can’t make a run . Especially if we make the smart choice and build around L.Fainu and his brother .
Also the team last years wooden spooners beat fell into a massive hole because the player that team is built around broke his leg just before halftime .
It’s almost as if when you lose your star player /s most teams can’t come back from that …. What do I know? I’m sure crying about it every 2nd post every 2nd hour is far more accurate .

Knights team is very good, but it is not too different to previous years.

They have two world class centres, one speedy winger and one metre eater. A world class fullback. There front row punches forward, and their back row is very dangerous.

First season Ponga has actually been worth his contract.

Probably the only small lock we have had in our existence that has been remotely successful in a part time role was Ben Galea ......and if he played lock 10 times I would be amazed
