Haven't read through the whole thread but what happened to the two signings supposedly in the cooling off period. 10 business days have come and gone and just like the Connor Watson tip, nothing has transpired.

Don't believe anything you read on here

Nothing has been announced so I am pretty sure that those signings aren't happening or were never happening.

Stay tuned next week. A forward and back will be added to the roster for 2018+

Not massive names but first graders this year.

Sounds good. I'll be waiting.

Its all over facey that the dogs are trying to get out of taking woods and we might be keeping him?
This has to be BS right? After all he's said and done

Hahaha ….. there has been a big change in attitude from Woods both on and off the field.
I think it's a near certainty he will be staying ...... actions speak louder than words.

TYRONE A TIGER?

Gold Coast half Tyrone Roberts isn’t short of options for next season.

While the Titans have offered a new deal and Warrington have expressed interest, Market Watch can reveal Wests Tigers are considering making a play for the Titans livewire.

It’s understood the Tigers view Roberts as the ideal player to fulfil their utility post.

With Tui Lolohea poised to move to fullback to accommodate the arrival of Josh Reynolds, Roberts could become the club’s impact man.

With the ability to play hooker, half and fullback, Roberts provides utility coverage at the highest level.

It’s understood Roberts’ priority is to remain in the NRL.

Would take him on in an instant. Such a natural talent and livewire
that would bring some true impact to our bench

Eisenhuth and Rona sounds likely.

Although I do think we may have the cap, surely we can't keep Woods. A middle third of:

8\. Woods
10\. Matulino
13\. Eisenhuth

14\. Packer
15\. Twal

would be incredible.

Roberts is a great player. He may be a better fullback than Tui and better halfback than Brooks. He kicks goals at a decent clip also.

Cannot stand this "considering to make a play" rubbish. There are 2 leaps of faith at play. The first is whether its even true. The second is, if true, will the club make the play. That isn't even taking into account whether Roberts would take up our offer. Too many variables.

Sounds good. I'll be waiting.

Please dont it be Greg Eastwood

The best reason not to take Beastwood right now is because Dogs want someone to take Beastwood - and nobody appears that fussed. The longer you put it off, the cheaper and cheaper he becomes.

So maybe sign Beastwood with your last $10 of cap space, but make Dogs sweat it and do your best to get everyone else you want first.

I'm expecting the forward to be a tiger's resigning and the back to be extrrnal.
And just like you i don't want Eastwood anywhere our club.

"Please dont it be Greg Eastwood"

His peak has passed. 150K tops.

That being said if we don't get Woods turning around and we loose ET. I would be very open to a Graham and Eastwood combo deal. But if Graham isn't coming, I don't think we should take Eastwood. I would rather hit up Parramatta and any friends Alex Twal has.
